We lift you up before the throne of grace, dear sister in Christ, trusting in the mighty name of Jesus, the Great Physician, who bore our infirmities and carried our diseases. Your request for healing, both physical and for your heart, is heard by the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb and numbers every hair on our heads. We stand with you in faith, believing that God’s will is perfect, His mercy is boundless, and His power is limitless.
The Word of God declares in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says the Lord. We claim this promise over you, Carmen, trusting that the same God who spoke light into darkness can speak healing into your body and peace into your heart. We also hold fast to Psalm 147:3, which reminds us, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." Your heart matters deeply to the Lord, and we pray that He would mend any brokenness, fill you with His joy, and guard you with His peace.
Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before You with humility and expectancy. We ask that You would stretch forth Your healing hand upon Carmen. If it is Your will, touch every part of her body that is in pain, whether seen or unseen, and bring restoration, strength, and wholeness. Lord, we know that Your ways are higher than ours, and we surrender to Your perfect plan, trusting that even in waiting, You are working all things for her good. We also pray for her heart, that You would purify it, fill it with Your love, and protect it from fear, anxiety, or discouragement. Let her heart beat in rhythm with Yours, Lord, and may she know the depth of Your care for her.
We rebuke any spirit of infirmity, doubt, or despair that may be attempting to take hold of her. In the authority of Jesus’ name, we command every affliction to bow to the power of the cross and the resurrection. We declare that Carmen is fearfully and wonderfully made, and that her life is precious in Your sight. Strengthen her faith, Lord, and let her experience Your presence in tangible ways as she waits on You.
We also encourage you, Carmen, to draw near to God in this season. James 4:8 promises, "Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you." Spend time in His Word, for it is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword. Let the truth of Scripture wash over you, reminding you of God’s faithfulness, His love, and His power to heal. Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you, encourage you, and remind you of God’s promises when the road feels long.
Remember, too, that healing comes in many forms. Sometimes God heals instantly, other times He walks with us through the valley, using the journey to refine our faith and draw us closer to Him. Whatever the outcome, we know that His grace is sufficient, and His strength is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). You are not alone in this, Carmen. The Lord is your shepherd, and He will never leave you nor forsake you.
Let us close with this prayer:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Carmen and for her faith in bringing her needs before You. We ask that You would move mightily in her life, bringing healing, comfort, and peace. Lord, we trust in Your goodness and Your sovereignty. If it is Your will, restore her health completely, and let her heart be filled with Your joy and peace. Strengthen her spirit, and let her feel Your presence in every moment. We ask all of this in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus, the name above every name, the name by which we are saved and healed. Amen.
May the Lord bless you, Carmen, and keep you. May His face shine upon you and be gracious to you. May He lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace. We will continue to stand in faith with you, believing for God’s perfect will to be done in your life.
