Healing and a healthy heart

We come before the Lord with your request, lifting up your concerns about your physical health and seeking His healing touch. We know that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and it is right to pray for healing and strength, trusting in God’s perfect will.
First, we want to affirm that you have rightly come before the Lord in the name of Jesus. There is no other name by which we can approach the Father, for Jesus Himself said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). It is only through His sacrifice and resurrection that we have access to God’s throne of grace, where we can find mercy and help in our time of need (Hebrews 4:16). We are grateful that you have placed your trust in Him, for salvation and healing alike come through faith in Jesus Christ.
We pray now for your physical well-being, specifically for your neck, back, and heart. Father God, we ask that You would grant wisdom to the doctors and medical professionals caring for , and that You would reveal the root of this pain. If there is any connection to the heart, we ask that You would make it known so that it can be addressed with Your healing power. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we trust in Your promise that You desire wholeness for Your children. Lord, if it is Your will, we ask for complete healing, strengthening ’s heart, relieving the pain in their neck and back, and restoring full health. We know that Your ways are higher than our ways (Isaiah 55:8-9), and we surrender this request to Your perfect plan.
We also pray for peace to guard ’s heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Physical pain can weigh heavily on the spirit, and we ask that You would fill them with Your comfort and assurance. Remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Even in this season of uncertainty, may they feel Your presence and know that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28).
Father, we rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that may be trying to take root in ’s life. The Bible tells us that "God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind" (2 Timothy 1:7). We stand against the enemy’s lies and declare that is covered by the blood of Jesus, protected and loved by the Creator of heaven and earth. We speak life and health over their body, trusting in Your power to restore and renew.
Finally, we encourage to continue seeking the Lord in this time. Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you (James 4:8). Spend time in His Word, for it is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12), and it brings life and healing to the soul. Surround yourself with fellow believers who can pray with you, encourage you, and remind you of God’s faithfulness. And remember, whether the outcome is healing in this life or the promise of eternal healing in Your presence, God is good, and His love endures forever.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Healer, Redeemer, and Lord. Amen.

Your pain in neck and back has set you thinking upon your heart, and that is good, for out of the heart are the issues of life. The Lord often permits a lesser affliction to sound an alarm, lest a greater evil go undetected. You long for a strong and healthy heart, and I join you in that prayer; yet know that the natural heart, which beats within your bosom, is but a shadow of the heart which is truly vital. There is a heart without which we perceive not God, and that heart must be given afresh.
A new heart also will I give you, saith the Lord, a heart of flesh, not of stone. Seek first that your heart be right toward Him. For the great Physician came to bind up the brokenhearted, and His healing is of grace, not of debt. Believe in your heart that God hath raised Jesus from the dead, and confess Him with your mouth, and you shall be saved.
When the love of God is shed abroad in the heart by the Holy Ghost, then you can laugh at impossibilities. Bring every fear, every throb of pain, to the bleeding heart of Jesus, and there find rest. If it be His will to touch your body and remove this malady, He will do it; if not, His grace is sufficient. A heart united to fear His name is a happy heart, though the flesh be weak.
Cry therefore, Unite my heart to fear Thy name, and He will answer. The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth and in thy heart; that is the word of faith. Trust thou in Him, and thy better healing shall be accomplished, come what may in the outward frame.

You bring your pains to the Lord with a right spirit, asking that His will be done. This is no small beginning of health. Yet consider: the body’s aches are permitted for a purpose, often to draw the soul away from its sluggishness. When the neck and back cry out, they remind you that you carry a mortal frame, and that here we have no lasting city. Do not let fear of the heart seize you with anxiety, for anxiety itself gnaws at the body more than any malady. The Physician who touched the fevered woman and restored her at once is the same who holds your every pulse. He can heal, and He will heal, but the timing and the manner are His. Your part is to lift up holy hands without wrath or doubting, and to let patience have its perfect work.
What is the greater gain: a body free of pain for a season, or a soul that stands fast in trial and comes forth like gold? We brought nothing into this world, and we carry nothing out. Naked we entered, naked we depart. Then let not this temporary frame dominate your hopes, but give yourself to the care of the inner man. If you would have a strong heart, give alms from what you have, and immediately a spiritual vigor will flood you, throwing all bodily loss into shadow. Render thanks for the affliction, and you will see how much joy springs up. For the devil aims to cast you down by these fears; but when he sees a mind inscribed with the laws of God, he flees.
Yes, pray for healing, and we pray with you, but pray yet more that whether in health or in weakness, your heart may be pure and your treasure laid up where no decay touches. The true heart strong and sound is the one that beats in harmony with Christ’s commands. Endure these words, though they may seem to gall; they are a remedy sharper than any physician’s knife. The Lord is near. In His hand is the breath of every living thing. If He will, He can speak and the pain will depart. But if He allows the thorn to remain, His grace will prove sufficient. Only do not be mastered by the dread of what may never be, and do not expend your strength on brooding over symptoms. Lay the matter before the altar, then go in peace, occupying your mind with psalms and holy reading. Nothing so baffles the enemy as a soul that dwells on divine things. I will lift your name with the congregation, asking the Lord who knows what you need before you ask: let the true calm descend, and let your heart be established in the hope that does not disappoint.
