Disciple of Prayer
Good day. Please keep my niece ### in prayers. She just found out that they pick up cancer in her body. Please pray for when she's going for a second opion that the test will come back negative. She gone through so much in life and busy with her studies. She's lost so much 6amd has a bad cough. God to heal her by his stripes and give her the strength and wisdom to deal and trust him for a negative outcome. In Jesus name amen.

We lift up your niece with heavy hearts, standing in the gap for her as she faces this difficult diagnosis. The weight of sickness and uncertainty can feel overwhelming, especially when she has already endured so much. But we declare that the same God who bore our sicknesses and carried our pains (Isaiah 53:4-5) is her healer. By His stripes, she is healed, this is not just a hope, but a promise we stand on in faith.

Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we are saved and healed. We ask for Your divine intervention over ’s health. As she seeks a second opinion, we pray that every test would confirm Your healing power, that the cancer would be revealed as a mistake, a shadow with no substance, and that her body would be restored to full health. Strengthen her faith, Lord, and let her trust in You grow deeper with each passing day. You are the God who turns mourning into dancing (Psalm 30:11), and we believe You will do the same for her.

We also lift up her studies and the burdens she carries. Give her supernatural strength, peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7), and wisdom to navigate this season without fear. Remind her that You are her refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2), and that nothing, no sickness, no trial, can separate her from Your love (Romans 8:38-39).

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of infirmity in Jesus’ name. We command every cancerous cell to die and every trace of this disease to leave her body. We declare that she is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and that Your plans for her are for good, not for harm (Jeremiah 29:11). May she experience Your presence in tangible ways, feeling Your peace and comfort even in the waiting.

We pray for her cough and any lingering symptoms, bring complete relief, Lord. Let her rest well, eat well, and feel Your sustaining grace in every moment. Surround her with believers who will uphold her in prayer, speak life over her, and remind her of Your faithfulness.

Above all, we pray that this trial would draw her closer to You. If there are areas in her life where she needs to surrender more fully to Your will, reveal them to her gently. Let this be a season where her faith is refined like gold (1 Peter 1:7), and where she sees Your hand moving in ways she never imagined.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust You for a testimony of healing that will glorify Your name. In the powerful, matchless name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We are holding your niece up in prayer with you, and we can feel the weight of this moment. When the waiting for a second opinion stretches out, it’s easy for the mind to race ahead into fearful scenarios, especially when she’s already worn down by so much loss and the demands of her studies. That cough alone would be draining; adding the emotional toll of an uncertain diagnosis can make even ordinary days feel overwhelming. She’s blessed to have you walking so closely beside her.

One of the most grounding things you can offer her right now is your steady, unhurried presence. In our own experience, when someone is facing a possible chronic illness, they often feel fragile in ways they may not voice. Simply being there, listening, making a meal, helping with errands so she can rest or study, can be a quiet reminder that she is not alone. Let her set the pace for what she needs to talk about or not talk about.

As we pray, we ask boldly for the test to come back clear, yet we also ask for the unshakable peace that comes from knowing God is near, whatever the outcome. His healing power is real, and so is His comfort in the waiting.

Prayer: Father, we lift up this precious niece to you now. You know every cell in her body, every worry in her heart. Please still the spiral of fearful thoughts and give her rest. Grant her doctors sharp insight and clarity as they review the results. If it be your will, let this second opinion show no sign of cancer. But more than anything, let her feel your steady hand holding her through this trial. In Jesus’ name, amen.

There is a fountain of healing opened for your niece, and her present need is not merely for a physician’s opinion but for the living God to prove His promise true in her body. You ask for prayer that the next test returns negative, and that is a right petition, yet let us press further. The highest wisdom is not in finding a favorable report alone, but in trusting the Lord so wholly that even before the second opinion is spoken, her heart is anchored in His faithfulness. Without such trust, we are as the wild ass’s colt, rushing here and there, wasting strength that might be profitably employed. You speak of her long trials and heavy losses; then let her not add to them the burden of a divided heart. The way of wisdom is simply this: “He who trusts in the Lord, happy is he.” Let her act with prudence, seek the help that is meet, and then rely entirely upon Him. If men’s opinions veer, let her remain invincibly strong in that strength which confidence in God alone can confer.

You also plead the covenant promise of healing by His stripes. Then take hold of it with both hands. Many a soul would already have peace if they would cease waiting for a feeling of healing and walk forward at Christ’s bare command. Those ten lepers found no change as they stood still, but “as they went, they were cleansed.” So it may be with your niece. Before the cough quiets, before the physicians speak comfort, she must go forward trusting the Word that declares, “With His stripes we are healed.” Is Christ a liar? God forbid. Let her trust Him as she sinks, and she shall swim. I remember a poor and rugged soul who said they could trust Christ with a million souls if they had them. Tell your niece Christ is able to save all who trust Him, able to command that cancer to be gone, able to renew her strength as the eagle’s. Our strength apart from Him is but derived strength, measurable and spent by the day; but when the heart drinks life from the heart of God, then all is well. She has no might of her own now, then let this be the hour when He increases strength. Let her wait upon the Lord in prayer, in quiet submission, in the reading of His Word, and He shall cause her to mount up.

Never forget that even the leaves of the Tree of Life are for healing. Not only the great doctrines but the smallest promises, a gentle whisper from the Spirit, a single line of a hymn, can carry within them all the healing power of Christ. The least thing about Jesus is restorative. Let her gather these leaves. Let her believe that the blood of the covenant not only pardons but purifies and heals the flesh. You speak of her studies and her struggles; all this has sapped her natural strength. But here is a fountain opened, not for her body only, but for the deep weariness of her soul. While she is waiting for news of the body, let her put in a greater claim, the forgiveness of every iniquity, the peace that follows when we know we are accepted in the Beloved! When Jesus healed the palsied man, He said first, “Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you.” Pardon and healing are one gift from the same pierced hand. Many a child of God, when weary, has renewed strength at the remembrance of pardoning mercy. So, while she lies weak as a helpless worm, let her fall upon Christ’s kind arms and say, “He is my strength and my righteousness, my Jesus and my all.”

Do not merely pray for a negative test, pray that she, and all who love her, may find rest for their souls in this storm. You will know you are in the old path, the good way, when a deep, calm repose takes hold of the heart despite the shaking of the body. Bring everything to God by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving. Do not trust chance; do not bow to despair. Trust God, use the right means, and then let the peace that passes understanding garrison her heart. The Lord who heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds is with her now. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings. Go your way, believing what is absolutely true: Jesus Christ is no dead doctor, His power to heal is as present now as when He taught in Galilee. May that power rest upon her. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Why do trials come, if not to show that our salvation is wrought by the very things the enemy meant for harm? As the bonds of Christ were proclaimed beforehand for the world’s redemption, so this affliction that has come upon your niece is not outside the knowledge of Him who loves her. Do not let your heart be confounded when you hear of cancer or second opinions; for the force of truth is such that even in the shadow of sickness, God prepares a table of healing. What the physicians discover is not hidden from the Lord, who seeth the root while we gaze only on the trunk.

She hath lost much, and the cough wearies her body, yet remember, the vessel is pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair. The thorn was given to Paul lest he be exalted overmuch; sometimes these very weaknesses become the ground where humble trust takes root and flourishes. Labor to enter into that rest of unwavering faith, lest she fall after the same example of unbelief. It is not hearing one prayer or ten that seals the promise, but the patient tilling of the soul. A tree may receive many strokes and seem unmoved, then at one merciful word be laid low by grace. Continue in supplication without growing weary: often we perceive no relief, yet the Spirit is working beneath our sight. The prayers, the tears, the words of healing spoken in Jesus’ name, they are not lost.

And do not grow negligent of the body, for Christ Himself had compassion on the multitude fasting three days, lest they faint. He who touched the blind and made the lame walk looks now upon your niece with the same compassion. By His stripes we are healed, not only in soul, but even in the flesh, for He took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses. Bid her learn of Him who is meek and lowly in heart; His yoke is easy, His burden light. Cast the weight of this anxiety upon Him, and she shall find rest for her soul, whatever the reports may say. There remaineth a rest for the people of God, a peace that passes not away, even in the waiting.

Let the second opinion come back with good tidings, as we all hope and ask. But whether the answer be what we long to hear or something harder to receive, the sword of the Spirit is not shortened. The punishment of unbelief is to fall short of the rest God provides; so let her not doubt His power, nor imagine that hearing is insufficient for salvation. She hath ears; let her hear the word: “I am the Lord that healeth thee.” We lift her before the throne where the children once cried, “Hosanna,” and Christ received their praise. May that same Christ, who stilled the storm and opened blind eyes, quiet the storm in her body and grant both healing and the wisdom to trust Him through every step. In His name, amen.
