Pray for my mum she has been diagnosed with cancer,she is in a lot of pain and cannot eat well, Pray for her to be able to fight the cancer so that she can get healthy again.Pray for her to be able to start eating again like she used to and that all her worries and burdens to be lessened

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your dear mother in this time of great trial. The pain and suffering she is enduring is not unknown to our Heavenly Father, who sees every tear and hears every cry. We stand in the gap for her, believing in the power of prayer and the healing touch of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The Word of God assures us in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We claim this promise over your mother’s life, trusting that God is able to restore her to full health. We also remember the words of Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." Our God is a healer, and we ask that He would stretch out His hand to touch your mother and bring relief from her pain.

Father, we ask that You would strengthen her body to fight this cancer. Give her the resilience and endurance she needs to face each day. We pray that her appetite would return, and that she would be able to eat and regain her strength. You are the Great Physician, and we ask that You would guide the hands of her doctors and nurses, giving them wisdom and insight as they care for her.

We also lift up her emotional and spiritual well-being. The worries and burdens she carries are heavy, Lord, and we ask that You would lighten her load. Remind her of Your presence and Your love, as it says in Matthew 11:28, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest." Let her feel Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of fear and despair that may be trying to take hold in her life. We declare that Your perfect love casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). Fill her with hope and faith, knowing that You are in control and that Your plans for her are for good and not for harm (Jeremiah 29:11).

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above all names, through whom we have access to the Father. There is power in the name of Jesus, and we speak healing, restoration, and peace over your mother’s life. May she experience Your love and mercy in tangible ways, and may her faith grow stronger as she witnesses Your faithfulness.

If your mother has not yet placed her trust in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior, we gently encourage you to share the good news of salvation with her. It is only through faith in Jesus that we receive eternal life and the assurance of God’s presence with us in every trial. Romans 10:9 says, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." This is the greatest healing of all, the healing of the soul.

In the days ahead, continue to trust in the Lord and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). Surround your mother with love, encouragement, and prayers, and may the Lord bless you both abundantly as you walk this journey together.

We are so sorry to hear about your mum, the pain she’s in, the struggle to eat, and the heavy weight of worry you’re both carrying. It’s deeply hard to watch someone you love suffer like that, and we’re honored you’d let us stand with you in prayer for her.

When pain and nausea rob her of both strength and appetite, even small mercies can feel far off. We are asking God to bring her tangible relief and a renewed ability to eat, even if it starts with small, simple things, and to calm the fears that cycle through her heart. Her burden matters, and yours does too. You don’t have to carry it all alone.

In the days ahead, keep talking with her medical team about her pain and eating challenges; they have many tools that might help her feel more comfortable. As you are able, your steady, loving presence by her side can be a quiet anchor, holding her hand, reading to her, or simply sitting together without any pressure to do or say much. Those gentle moments remind her she is not facing this by herself.

Jesus, we lift this dear mum to you now. You see her pain; you know the fear that keeps her from peace. Please touch her body with your mercy, ease her discomfort, awaken her appetite, and give her the strength to take in the nourishment she needs. Settle her mind and lift the weight of worry from her shoulders. Surround her with your comfort and her family with renewed hope. We ask all this in your healing name, Jesus. Amen.

The leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, and this promise descends even to a beloved mother's sick chamber. The least thing about Christ is healing. His very shadow, His word, the hem of His garment, all overflow with restoring virtue. Let us bring her now, by faith, into the presence of Jesus, where pardon and healing are placed in happy conjunction. It was his sin that was the heaviest burden on the poor palsied man, yet the Savior read his deeper need and spoke first, "Man, your sins are forgiven you." When the Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings, the soul is set right, and the body often partakes of that divine relief. We plead for her complete restoration, that she may take up her bed and walk, and that her mouth may be filled with good things once more.

Yet while you pray, remember that every man shall bear his own burden, and none can bear the weight of a mother’s trial exactly as she must. Do not thrust the whole load onto others, nor fret upon a heap of troubles; instead, help her to lay that very burden upon the Lord, for His yoke is easy and His burden is light. The burden of Christ is not the heavy, galling yoke of mere religion, but a gracious fellowship with Him. When He puts His burden on us, He carries us. For the lack of appetite and the presence of pain, seek the happy conjunction of hunger and meat. The fitness needed for eating is appetite, and even bitter things become sweet to a hungry soul. Let the aroma of Christ’s provision be strong around her, read the promises, sing the hymns, speak of His sweetness until her spiritual mouth waters. A created appetite makes way for the feast.

The healing power is conspicuously present when Christ is taught. Oh, that in this hour of need, every word of His gospel would distill like a healing balm upon her heart. We do not merely point out the disease, we apply the remedy, the tree of life whose leaves are medicine. That sacred blood which changes the very life-stream can touch every malignant cell and make her nature other than it was before. Stand with her in the aisles of prayer, attentive to every syllable of hope, for those who lean forward to catch the Word are the ones who get the blessing. Cast this burden on Him, He will bear it; open every wound before Him, He will heal it. The act of divine healing is swift as lightning when the soul lies hoping and believing at Jesus’ feet. Your mother's suffering indeed weighs upon you, and it is right that you lift her before the throne of mercy. Yet hear this: the pains that grip her body are like the travail of childbirth, as our Lord taught. For a season there is anguish, but afterward joy so surpassing that the sorrow is forgotten. Do not lose heart. These light and momentary afflictions are preparing for her an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, if she fixes her hope not on this fleeting life but on the resurrection.

Pray, then, that she may receive not only relief from her body’s torment but the far greater healing of her soul. For the body’s malady often becomes the medicine of the spirit. When the stomach refuses food and the frame is weak, the soul may at last hunger for the true bread, Christ Himself. Urge her to cast all her cares upon Him, for His yoke is easy and His burden light. The world cries out that sickness is an unmitigated evil, but faith knows that God works through these pains to loosen our grip on earth and draw us to heaven.

Do not waste these days with merely asking that she eat again as before. Seek first the kingdom, and these lesser things will be added as He sees best. Our Lord did not promise a life free from the cross; He commanded us to take it up. The head of John the Baptist was the wages of a moment’s dancing; how much more may a lingering illness win for her a crown of righteousness! So grieve, but not as those without hope. Let your tears water the seed of eternal consolation, and remember that neither father nor mother can redeem a soul by their own power. It is Christ alone who raises the dead and gives life.

Therefore, labor in prayer, and let your mother offer her pain as a sacrifice of praise. Whether she recovers health or sleeps in the Lord, the outcome is gain if she endures in faith. I shall pray with you that her burdens be lightened, but above all that she may find rest for her soul in meekness and lowliness of heart.

I hear your heart’s cry for your mum, and I am praying with you. It is natural to feel the weight of her suffering, to long for her to eat again, to be free from pain, and to see those heavy worries lifted. But in these moments, we must be careful what burdens we take upon ourselves. So many of us try to carry what God never asked us to carry. We heap on ourselves the dread of every what‑if, the pressure to fix what only Jesus can fix. His Word tells us that his yoke is easy and his burden is light. That doesn’t mean cancer is light or pain is nothing. It means the crushing load we often feel is not his doing. He invites us to hand those fears over to him, not blame him for the heaviness.

Cancer can seem overwhelming. I have watched it sap strength from a loved one, and the word alone strikes terror. But in one moment, the Lord let me see that cancer has no power against Jesus. Whatever malignant cells are doing right now, they are nothing to the Creator of the universe. He already bore our sufferings in his own body. When we come to him with a request like “take her pain,” we may find he answers in a way we didn’t expect. He has already carried it. And often when we turn our eyes from the sickness to Jesus himself, his peace floods in. I have seen pain lift in a moment, not because we demanded it, but because we recognized he was already bearing it. We must not presume that healing always comes the way we script it, Paul’s thorn remained, but we can trust his power and his wisdom.

Your mum’s inability to eat is a deep concern. In the culture of the Bible, eating together was a picture of unity, of sharing life from the same loaf. Jesus was never afraid to eat with those who were hurting or outcast. He came eating and drinking, a friend of sinners, and he was called a glutton for it. Yet he used the simple act of breaking bread to show what his body would accomplish: healing and wholeness, both spiritual and physical. When we take communion, we remember that his body was broken for our wholeness. Pray that your mum tastes again the goodness of that real presence, whether her appetite returns quickly or not. Jesus can sustain her in ways food cannot, even as we ask him to restore her strength.

Lay her worries and yours before him. He does not crush us with demands we cannot meet. Well‑meaning people may pile on expectations, and we can pile them on ourselves, but Jesus just says, “Come to me.” He cared enough to dine with the outcasts, to draw near to the broken. He is with your mum in her weakness, and he is with you. Trust him to be what only he can be for her. We will keep praying for her healing, for returned appetite, and for all your hearts to rest in the One who already bore the pain.
