Urgent Prayer Request for My Mom. Prayer for Healing, Strength, and Provision.

Fleirirlance

Disciple of Prayer
I would like to ask for your continued prayers for my mom, ###, who is fighting stage ### cancer. Please pray for God's healing and mercy over her. May He remove her pain, give her strength every day, and help her continue to live as normally as possible. I pray that God will bless her with a long life, hope, peace, and a joyful heart. I also pray that He will give us more time together as a family. Please pray that God will surround my mom with kind and caring people who will take good care of her, show her love, support her, and encourage her every day. While she is still able, I also pray that she will receive the sincere apologies, respect, and kindness she deserves from those who have hurt or wronged her. I know she has a forgiving heart, but I pray that these words of apology will bring her peace, comfort, and healing. I also ask for prayers for a financial miracle. May God provide everything we need for her treatments, medicines, and all other expenses. I believe that God will make a way and bless our family with His provision. Please also pray for me. I am waiting for the approval of my work permit, and I pray that it will be approved soon so I can go home to ###, be with my mom, spend precious time with her, and make more happy memories with my family. I also pray for a financial miracle, that God will provide enough for my travel to and from ###, all my expenses while I am there, and the financial support I need to help my mom and my family during this time. Thank you so much for your prayers.

We lift up your dear mother to the Lord with heavy hearts, trusting in His mercy and power to heal. The Word of God assures us that "Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. The prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven" (James 5:14-15). We stand on this promise, believing that God hears our cries and will move mightily on her behalf.

Father, we ask You to stretch forth Your healing hand upon her. Touch every cell in her body, Lord, and command the cancer to flee in the name of Jesus. Remove her pain, ease her suffering, and grant her strength for each day. May she feel Your presence surrounding her like a warm embrace, filling her with peace that surpasses all understanding. We pray for her to experience joy even in this trial, for You are the God who turns mourning into dancing (Psalm 30:11).

We also lift up the financial burdens weighing on this family. You are Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides, and we trust that You will open doors no man can shut. "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19). Provide for every treatment, every medication, and every expense. We ask for favor in the approval of the work permit, that it may come swiftly so this precious child of God can be reunited with her mother. Cover the costs of travel and sustain them during this time of need.

Lord, we pray for reconciliation and peace in her relationships. Soften the hearts of those who have wronged her, that they may come with humility and seek her forgiveness. May these acts of repentance bring her comfort and healing, for You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). Strengthen her to forgive as You have forgiven us, releasing any bitterness or resentment that could hinder her peace.

We also ask that You surround her with compassionate caregivers, those who will love her, support her, and encourage her in the Lord. Let her feel the warmth of community and the love of Christ through every interaction.

Father, we declare that this family will not walk through this valley alone. You are their strength, their refuge, and their hope. May they cling to You in faith, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). We pray for moments of laughter, joy, and cherished memories together, even in the midst of this battle.

We rebuke the spirit of fear, despair, and sickness in Jesus’ name. We declare life, healing, and restoration over this precious mother. May her testimony be one of Your faithfulness and power, bringing glory to Your name.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

It is so hard to be far away when someone you love is fighting a serious illness, the miles feel like a weight on your heart. We can hear how much you love your mom and how deeply you long to be with her. That desire to go home, to hold her hand, to make more memories together, is something we are lifting with you right now.

Father, we come to you with all of this, this daughter’s love for her mom, these real and pressing needs. We ask you to quiet the pain in her mom’s body, to steady her each day, and to let her feel your nearness in a way that brings genuine peace and even moments of joy. Please raise up kind, attentive people around her, nurses, friends, church members, who will treat her with dignity and tenderness. For the deep wounds others have caused, we ask that you bring whatever words or gestures she needs most for her heart to be at rest, even if they never come from the people who should have spoken them.

We ask you to clear every obstacle to that work permit. Open the door so this family can be together again soon. And we ask you to provide for the financial weight of treatments, travel, and daily expenses in ways that surprise them, because you know every need before we ask.

While she waits to be there in person, give her creative ways to stay close across the distance, and help them both sense that you are holding them together. We trust her mom into your merciful hands, and we thank you that no distance is too great for your love. In Jesus’ name.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

When affliction comes in like a flood, the Spirit of God raises up a standard against it. You have cried out for health and for healing, for provision and for the opening of a door; these are not small things in the least, yet they are but the leaves of that Tree whose fruit is eternal life. The least thing about Christ has healing in it, His touch, His word, His promise, these are leaves that are for the healing of the nations, and they are for your dear mother this very hour. Pray on; the Great Physician hears, and though the cancer seems mighty, He who finished transgression and made an end of sins can surely speak peace to her body and her soul.

The Lord who fed the ravens will not leave you penniless; He knows your need before you ask. Cast this burden of expense and travel on Him and be comforted, for He has said, “I will never leave thee nor forsake thee.” Your work permit and your journey home, these, too, are in His hand. The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and He delighteth in his way. Wait on Him without fainting, and in the meantime, let His Word quicken you. It is not the letter but the Spirit that becomes our real comfort, quickening the heart so that even in the long delay, you find strength to carry on.

You desire for your mother a word of apology and kindness from those who wounded her. This is a noble desire, yet remember that the deepest peace is not that which cometh from men’s lips, but from His lips who says, “Peace I leave with you.” Let her heart be fixed on Him, and though men remain silent, the Comforter will speak. Her forgiving heart is a grace from above, and He will not forget it. The day will come when all wrongs shall be made right in the light of His presence, and till then, He Himself is her vindication and her rest.

Think, too, upon that blessed text: “Thou shalt forget thy misery, and remember it as waters that pass away.” By the lapse of time, yes, but more wonderfully by the overwhelming joy of Deliverance, the pain and the weary treatments shall be remembered no more. The leaves of the tree are not only for healing now; they whisper of the eternal morning when sickness cannot enter. Comfort one another with this hope. Let her and you both grasp it with both hands.

He who sees every tear and marks every sigh will establish your hearts in every good word and work. He will not quench the smoking flax, nor break the bruised reed. Therefore be of good comfort, ye of little faith, why do ye doubt? The One who died to redeem you holds you fast. Pray on, with thanksgiving, and watch for His salvation.

Consider how the present life is a sleep, and the things in it are no way different from dreams. You are troubled by dreams now when you see your beloved mother in pain, when the expenses for physicians and medicines press upon you, when a piece of paper for travel is delayed. But if she who is sick and you who love her are both anchored upon the foundation, which is Jesus Christ, then what is happening now is like a fire that proves each one’s work of what sort it is. You pray for her healing and a long life, and this is fitting, for we are bidden to make provision for the flesh for health, as Timothy used a little wine for his stomach’s sake. Yet do not go beyond necessaries into the torment of anxiety, where the heart is weighed down and the flame of affliction is made more powerful than it need be. He who is walking to a fountain does not anxiously trouble himself about drink, and we have the boundless providence of God. The same Master who provides the fountain provides the gold and the silver for the treatments. To exact of yourself the penalty of excessive worry is to gain nothing; He gives more when we do not take thought, if our care is for spiritual things.

When your heart yearns for the sincere apologies and the kindness she deserves from those who wounded her, you are longing for a work of gold to be revealed in her life. That peace and comfort are precious stones that abides the fire. But do not look so intently at others who are taking their ease or who refuse to do right, for we have a common Teacher who had not where to lay His head. Let her forgiving heart be her treasure, and if human words of apology never come, she herself shall be saved in her forgiveness, yet so as through fire. The longing for more time together is the cry of nature, but remember that every soul now in paradise once walked through this same narrow gate. Whether that time be long or short, what is born of the flesh is flesh, and our true life is hidden with Christ. That is the knowledge that grants a joyful heart even when the outward frame decays.

Do not let your spirit be without relief over the delay of your work permit or the money for travel. The absence of a brother troubled even the Apostle, yet he still went forth to Macedonia when the door was open. God knows your desire to make happy memories and to hold your mother’s hand. Commit these earthly hinderances to Him. Bring forth the fruit of this trial by not being anxious, and you will no longer be asleep, chasing after shadows that fly away when the day comes. For the day shall declare it all.
