Healing

Kheumor

Humble Servant of All
I would like to ask for prayer again for my ###. She's in icu for her heart. This is the third time she's been in the hospital this month. Her heart rate isn't beating normally and she's had to have it shocked several times. They're having a hard time getting it down to a normal rhythm. Will you all please pray with me for that they get it down and that she'll be healed. Thank you so very much. I'm asking in Jesus name.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up in prayer as she battles this serious heart condition. The Word of God tells us, "Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praises. Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven" (James 5:13-15). We stand on this promise, believing that God hears our cries and is able to restore her health.

Heavenly Father, we ask You to stretch forth Your healing hand upon . Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who knit her together in her mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13). You know every beat of her heart, and we ask that You would bring it into perfect rhythm according to Your will. Calm the storm within her, Lord, and let Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard her heart and mind (Philippians 4:7). We pray against the spirit of fear and infirmity, rebuking it in the mighty name of Jesus. Strengthen her body, renew her strength, and let her rise up in victory.

Father, we also pray for wisdom and discernment for the medical team treating her. Guide their hands and minds as they work to stabilize her condition. Give them clarity and insight beyond their own understanding, for "the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceful, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy" (James 3:17). May they be instruments of Your healing power.

Lord, we ask that You would draw near to and her family during this difficult time. Comfort them with Your presence, and let them feel Your love surrounding them. Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Strengthen their faith, and help them to trust in You completely, even when the road is uncertain.

We also lift up any spiritual strongholds that may be contributing to this illness. If there is unforgiveness, bitterness, or unconfessed sin in her life or the lives of those around her, we ask that You would bring it to light and lead her to repentance. Your Word says, "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). We pray for complete restoration, body, soul, and spirit.

Father, we declare that by the stripes of Jesus, is healed (Isaiah 53:5). We speak life over her body and command every cell, every organ, and every system to align with Your perfect design. We break the power of sickness and disease in Jesus’ name, and we declare that she will walk in divine health. May her testimony be a powerful witness to Your glory and faithfulness.

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your goodness and mercy, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We're holding you and your loved one close in our hearts. It’s exhausting to sit beside someone you love, watching machines, waiting for numbers to settle, especially when this is the third time in a few short weeks. The repeated shocks, the tension of a rhythm that won’t hold steady, all of it wears on you. We want you to know we’re here with you, not just in this moment but for however long this road stretches.

We’re praying for the medical team, that God would grant them clear insight into what’s causing this arrhythmia and how to bring it under control. We’re asking too for your own strength, that even in the worry, you would breathe, eat a little something, and let others step in to help bear this load. If there’s someone from your church or a close friend who can sit with you or just take a phone call so you’re not carrying the fear alone, please reach out. Sometimes the simple presence of a brother or sister in Christ can be a steady anchor when everything feels uncertain.

And so we join our prayers with yours:

Jesus, we lift up this dear woman in the ICU. You know her heartbeat, every flutter, every irregular beat. We ask you to quiet her heart into a stable, normal rhythm. Give her doctors wisdom and her body rest. Surround her family with your peace that makes no sense in the middle of a storm, and hold them up when they’re too tired to stand on their own. We ask for healing, trusting that you love her more than we ever could. In your name, amen.

The cry of your heart has already ascended to the throne of grace, and it is not lost in the din of this world. You have found in your heart to pray this prayer unto the Lord, and that is no small mercy, for such a prayer is a sure token that the great Intercessor has first breathed it into your soul. When the beloved patient lies upon the brink, and the heart’s irregular beating mocks all human skill, we are driven to that prayer of faintness and inward thirst which needs no ordered words; the very throbbing of the anxious spirit becomes a mighty pleading before the God who hears the groaning of the prisoner and the gasping of the dying. He who made the heart knows its every secret pulse, and the healing leaves of the Tree of Life are not withered, there is virtue in Christ for the most desperate case.

None shall say to the healing flood of His love, “Hitherto shalt thou come, and no further.” It is often in the valley of the shadow that the Good Physician draws nearest, and beneath His wings the beleaguered soul finds pardon and restoration intertwined. Though the body be shaken, the spirit may lie quiet in the great Healer’s hands, for He binds up the broken in heart and counts the slightest touch of faith. Pray on, with that steadfast importunity which will not let Him go except He bless; and remember, a true prayer from one who is near the gates of death is a prevailing prayer. The answer may tarry till the last watch, but it will not fail.

Let your inmost soul say, “Speak the word only, and Thy servant shall be healed,” and rest assured that He hears, and will not forsake.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

When the waves of affliction rise and the tempest of sickness beats against you, take heart from the Master’s own words: “My yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” Do not be terrified by the seeming weight of this trial, for He who calms the sea and stills the storm stands beside you and your loved one. The Lord does not despise a broken heart nor turn away from the cry of the suffering. Even when His answer seems to tarry, remember the woman who begged for her daughter and was at first met with silence, yet she did not retreat, and her perseverance won the healing she sought. Let your prayer rise from the depths of your soul, even without audible voice, for Moses cried only within and God heard him; Hannah’s lips moved in silence, and her petition was granted. The God who knows the secrets of every heart hears every inward groan.

And should you wonder why the Lord permits this repeated affliction, consider blessed Job, who suffered without understanding, until he was brought to say, “Now mine eye seeth Thee; wherefore I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes.” Suffering, when endured with faith, becomes a furnace that purifies and draws us into a deeper vision of God’s majesty. Do not faint, then, but offer up thanksgiving even in tears, for the divine Physician is at work, even when the cure is hidden. I join my prayers with yours, asking that the Sun of Righteousness arise with healing in His wings, that the unruly rhythms of the body be subdued, and that your dear one be restored to health, to the glory of His name.

The cry of your heart for your loved one is heard by the One who knows every heart completely. He sees the depth of your love and concern, and He has placed within you this yearning to come before Him again in prayer. That desire itself is no accident, it is His own Spirit stirring you to call out for healing and mercy. He works in you both to will and to pray, and He is able to do more than we ask or imagine.

When a heart is physically struggling, we bring it before the Lord who alone can steady every rhythm and restore what is broken. He is not distant from your anxiety; He understands the weight of watching a beloved suffer. But remember, His gaze is not only on the electrocardiogram or the monitors, it rests on the heart of all involved. He looks past outward circumstances to the faith and submission in your heart. Your persistence in seeking Him with your whole heart is precious, even as you wait for the answer.

Do not trust only in what you feel or see. The same God who prompts your heart to intercede is the One who can calm the storms in that ICU room. He may not make the heartbeat normal in an instant, He might work through the hands of doctors, or He might bring a sudden quieting. However He chooses to act, your call is to keep bringing your burden to Him with a whole heart, not wavering between hope and despair. He honors the heart that clings to Him, even when circumstances look uncertain.

He has not left you alone. His Spirit prays with you, groaning beyond words. So continue to pour out your heart honestly, trusting that the Great Physician sees, cares, and is able. May the Lord grant the medical team wisdom, may He bring the heart rhythm under His command, and may His peace guard your own heart as you rest in His perfect will.
