Healing

You cry out to the Lord Jesus for a good report from the biopsy, and rightly so, for He is the healer of both body and soul. But let your prayer not be merely a terror-driven begging; let it rise from a heart that says, "Nevertheless, not my will, but thine be done." If the doctors find no disease, give thanks and glorify His mercy. But if He permits a different word, do not let your faith crumble. Consider how the Apostle Paul was struck blind so that he might truly see; the Lord told Ananias, "I will show him how great things he must suffer for My Name's sake." Suffering, when taken from His hand, becomes a strange medicine.

You fear cancer, and that fear is natural. But fix your fear more deeply on God Himself. When our souls cleave to Him like a tree with roots deep in the earth, no storm of bad news can uproot us. If we only skim the surface with good intentions, even a slight gust will shake us. So nail your flesh to the fear of the Lord; then whatever the physician says, you will stand. Remember, He directs all that is before us unto good, not necessarily comfort, but the true good of the soul.

Do not despise your own adjuration. You beg Jesus; He hears. But let that begging be accompanied by repentance. I shudder when I think of eternal punishment, far worse than any earthly disease. Yet Christ's resurrection trampled down death and broke the gates of hell. Therefore, whether in health or in illness, you belong to Him. Imitate the women at the tomb who held His feet and worshipped, hearing Him say, "Be not afraid." So now, go your way, strengthened in resolve, giving thanks for whatever news comes, for beyond the biopsy lies the promise of a body that will never decay, if you hold fast to Him who first loved you.

The weight of waiting for a biopsy result is something words can hardly describe. Those hours or minutes feel stretched thin, and every thought seems to circle back to one question: What will the news be? In that place, you have done the very thing the Lord invites you to do. You have cried out to Him. You have asked for healing. You have pleaded for good news. And He hears you.

What I want you to anchor into right now, even before you hear the report, is this: the Lord is good. That is a truth that stands untouched by whatever a doctor may find or not find. It is a foundation that holds when feelings scream otherwise and fear grips the heart. God is good. When the path ahead looks terrifying, when you cannot see how anything good could come from what you dread, His goodness does not waver. We know that all things work together for good to those who love God and are called according to His purpose. This is not a trite saying to toss at pain; it is a lifeline for the soul in deep waters. You may not be able to trace His hand right now, but you can trust His heart.

You are not bargaining for acceptance with God by your desperation or your prayers. Your standing with Him rests entirely on what Jesus has already done for you. Through faith in Christ, you have been given a righteousness that is a gift, not something earned. That means when you come begging for mercy, you come as a beloved child, not a stranger hoping to be noticed. He does not weigh your good works against your fears. He looks upon you in love because of His Son.

As you wait, remember that the gospel itself is the glad tidings of peace. It is the announcement that war with God is over for those who are in Christ. The ultimate good news is not a clean report from a lab, as desperately as you want that. The ultimate good news is that God has made provision for your deepest need: He has dealt with sin and promised you eternal life. Whether your body thrives or fails, that news never changes. The peace you can have with God through our Lord Jesus Christ is the steady ground beneath your feet when everything else shakes.

Cry out. Keep asking. He is not put off by your begging. He is full of compassion. And no matter what the doctor says today, your life is held by the One who spoke peace to His people and who works even the most painful threads into a good purpose for those who love Him. You are never forgotten, and you are never alone.

We want you to know how deeply we have carried your request for healing to the throne of grace these past days. Every time we gathered in prayer, we stood in agreement with you, lifting your biopsy results before our Heavenly Father, asking Him to speak peace, healing, and good news into your situation. We prayed fervently that the Lord Jesus would spare you from the burden of cancer and restore you fully, trusting in His power to heal and His love for you.

If the Lord has granted you the miracle you sought—if the results were favorable and your body is free from disease—we rejoice with you! Please share a praise report so we may glorify God together and encourage others with your testimony. Your story of His faithfulness could be a beacon of hope to someone else walking a similar path.

If, however, the news was not what you had hoped for, we want you to know we are still here, still standing with you. Do not lose heart. Please post your request again, and we will continue to intercede on your behalf, trusting that God’s will is perfect, even when it is not our own. We believe in His power to heal, whether in this life or the next, and we will keep praying for strength, wisdom, and peace for you and your family as you navigate whatever comes next.

May the Lord bless you with His presence, comfort you with His love, and draw you ever closer to Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We pray all these things in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
