Beloved of All
Praying for HEALING and RESTORATION following an incident which I believe to be a "REJECTION" situation for my soon to be wed son. Not from his fiancee but other. He said he's been experiencing deep pain. Emotional. Praying that he and his older brother have healing and understanding between them especially if younger son hasn't been responsive to calls or texts ( like he was with me) My younger son has been through alot.( Hospitalization for a 1st time ever manic episode and had not been diagnosed with BP etc. This should be a happy time in his life.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your sons and this deeply painful situation. Father, we know that rejection wounds the soul in ways that only Your healing touch can restore. Your Word tells us in Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." We claim this promise over your younger son, Lord. The pain he carries, whether from misunderstanding, unmet expectations, or the weight of his struggles, is not hidden from You. We ask that You would draw near to him, comfort him in his distress, and remind him that his worth is found in You alone, not in the opinions or actions of others.

We also lift up the relationship between your two sons. Proverbs 17:17 says, "A brother is born for adversity," yet we know that even the closest bonds can be strained by silence and unspoken hurt. Lord, we pray for reconciliation and understanding between them. Soften their hearts toward one another, and give them the courage to communicate with love and patience. If pride or past wounds are hindering their connection, we ask that You break down those barriers and restore what has been fractured.

For your younger son, who has endured so much, hospitalization, a new diagnosis, and now this emotional pain, we ask for Your peace to guard his heart and mind. Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." We pray that he would cast his burdens upon You, Lord, and find rest in Your presence. Help him to see this season not as a time of defeat, but as an opportunity to lean on You and grow in faith.

We must also address the importance of this upcoming marriage. Marriage is a sacred covenant, designed by You to reflect the relationship between Christ and His Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). We pray that your son and his fiancée would build their union on a foundation of faith, trust, and mutual respect. Lord, guard their hearts against any bitterness or resentment that could arise from this situation. Help them to extend grace to one another and to those who may have caused pain, remembering Your command in Colossians 3:13: "Bear with one another, and forgive each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do."

Father, we rebuke any spirit of rejection, bitterness, or division that may be at work in this situation. We declare that Your love is greater than any pain, and Your healing is more powerful than any wound. We speak restoration over this family, in Jesus’ mighty name. May Your peace, which transcends all understanding, fill their hearts and minds as they navigate this difficult time.

Lastly, we want to gently remind you that our prayers and our hope are rooted in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6), and it is His sacrifice that makes healing and restoration possible. If your sons do not yet know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we pray that this season of pain would draw them to Him. Romans 10:9 says, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." May they come to know the depth of His love and the power of His resurrection.

We stand with you in faith, believing that God is at work even in the midst of this pain. May He turn this situation into a testimony of His faithfulness and grace. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We’re so sorry your son is carrying this heavy hurt, especially in a season that should be filled with joy. The pain of rejection can cut deep, and it’s completely understandable that it weighs on you too, watching your child suffer, remembering the hospital stay, and longing for peace between your sons. Please know we’re holding all of you before the Lord.

Sometimes when someone has walked through a first manic episode, emotional injuries afterward can feel even more disorienting, both for him and for those who love him. It’s okay to simply be present: you don’t have to fix the pain or explain it. Your steady, unhurried listening can be its own quiet ministry. If the older brother seems distant, you might gently let him know you’re praying for their relationship without pressuring him to respond, patience here is hard but often wise.

Because your son has been hospitalized before, we’d also encourage keeping a gentle eye on his overall well-being. If his deep sadness seems to linger, or you notice any signs of another manic shift (like high agitation or sleeplessness), it could be loving to mention a check-in with his doctor or therapist, framed not as alarm but as normal care for his whole health.

Even this painful moment can become a doorway for greater wholeness, though right now it simply hurts. We’re praying with you for healing, understanding between the brothers, and for your own heart as you parent through this.

Jesus, we bring this beloved son to You. Please meet him in his grief, wrap him in comfort, and slowly mend what feels broken. Grant his brother softened resolve, and give this mom/dad wisdom and the right gentle words. Guard this son’s mind and body, and let this season ultimately draw him closer to wholeness and hope. In Your name we pray, Amen.

Multiplied also are the cares where disappointment and defeat have crushed the spirits. There is, then, an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the leaves, the little things, as it were, about Christ, are full of healing virtue. These healing leaves change the life blood, affect the spirits and make the nature other than it was before.

Healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction and both bestowed on the Lord's people when they looked not for them. Pardon and healing were one! He is the God of Peace and He has, on His part, prepared everything that is necessary for a perfect reconciliation. And we want that reconciliation to be worked at once by the power of the Holy Spirit.

His father had him once more at home and he loved him as much as he loved the elder brother... This privilege is proffered to you, also, in the Gospel of God. Yes, my dear Sister, my dear Brother, you can have back your early joy! You may yet sing with gladness of heart, let it be your delight, as well as your duty, to strengthen your Brethren.

Prove that you are a Brother by acting a Brother's part. He will derive great personal benefit from endeavoring to cherish and assist the weak ones in the family of God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The deep pain your son feels is not a sign that God has abandoned him, but rather that He is at work with a merciful severity. Our Lord Himself warned that He came not to send a shallow peace, but a sword. That sword cuts away the diseased parts of the soul so that true, lasting peace may take root. The rejection he has endured, though it comes from others and not from his betrothed, may well be that blade, separating him from something that would have harmed his spirit. You speak of a manic episode and hospitalization; this is a heavy cross, yet the Blood of Christ’s Cross alone reconciles us perfectly to God, and often He permits such storms to humble the proud will and drive a man to the only Physician who can heal the inner man.

Do not insist that this season must be nothing but a worldly happiness. The joy of a wedding is brief, but a soul restored to God is an eternal treasure. Encourage your son to bear this sorrow as a healing draught, not as poison. And as for the silence from his older brother, do not force a false concord merely to soothe outward appearances. Even robbers agree together; a peace that hides festering wounds is no peace at all. Pray that both your sons may come to that understanding which the Cross alone can give, where true enmity is slain and hearts are knit not by polite silence but by the reconciling Blood. I join my prayers with yours, asking the Lord to turn this present grief into a furnace that purifies gold, and to restore your younger son not to a brittle ease, but to the deep, unshakeable peace that passes all human understanding.

I hear the pain in your words, and I can feel the weight of it. That kind of rejection wounds deeply, and for a mother watching her son suffer, it lodges right in the gut. This should be a season brimming with joy, yet here you are, your heart heavy for him. Please know that God sees. He doesn’t stand at a distance.

Much of our inner turmoil comes from an unquenched thirst, a spiritual thirst we try to satisfy with emotional fixes. We think if that other person would just call, if the relationship would mend, if the pain would lift, then we’d be whole. But like a game that ends in defeat, the high never lasts. Jesus said, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink.” The deepest healing begins when your son brings that ache straight to the One who made his soul. Those manic episodes and the hospitalization, those are profound shakings. Yet Christ is not afraid of his mind’s fragility. He walks with him through it, even now.

The Scriptures show us a Savior who weeps over the sorrow sin leaves in its wake. When Jesus looked over Jerusalem, knowing they would cast Him off, He didn’t weep for His own rejection; He wept seeing the devastation it would bring, the broken bonds, the dashed peace. He weeps with your son in this, and with you. He knows the cost.

Healing isn’t always instantaneous. There is only one recorded miracle where Jesus healed gradually: the blind man who first saw people as trees walking. Yet the work was still divine. God may be doing a quiet, step-by-step healing in your son’s mind and emotions right now, untangling the confusion, soothing the rejection, steadying the heart. Don’t discount the slow work of grace through doctors, time, and the body’s own God-ordained processes. It’s still His hand.

There’s a lovely wish John penned: that we would prosper and be in good health even as our soul prospers. That’s not a rigid promise we claim, but it reveals a real connection. As his soul finds its anchor in Christ, as he learns to rest in being loved by the Father, the emotional storms may settle. Pray for that soul-prospering above all. Out of it can flow a settled mind and healthier relationships.

For him and his older brother, I pray the Lord would break the silence with understanding. Not forced replies, but a work beneath the surface. May His love prevail where hurt has built a wall. May you see wisdom for each step, and a kindness that responds to adversity, not with more bitterness, but with grace. I join you in lifting this up, and I trust that the One who wept over sin’s pain will carry your son, and your whole family, through.

We are so grateful you trusted us with your heavy heart and allowed us to stand with you in prayer for your sons. This season should indeed be filled with joy as your younger son prepares for marriage, and we continue to lift him, his fiancée, and his older brother before the Lord, asking for deep emotional healing and restoration.

Father, we pray that the pain of rejection would be replaced with Your perfect peace—that any misunderstandings or strained communication between the brothers would be softened by Your love. We ask for wisdom and patience for your family as you navigate this time, and we declare healing over your younger son’s heart, mind, and spirit. May he feel Your presence in a tangible way, knowing he is cherished and valued beyond measure.

If this prayer has been answered in any way—whether through reconciliation, comfort, or renewed hope—we would love to hear a praise report so we can rejoice with you. If the burden still feels heavy, please share it again so we can continue interceding on your behalf. May God’s grace surround your family, and may His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts in Christ Jesus. We pray this in Jesus’ Name.
