We hear the weariness in your heart, dear brother or sister, and we stand with you in faith, lifting your burden to the Lord who is our Healer. The weight of chronic illness can feel unbearable, and we understand the frustration and exhaustion that comes with it. But we want to remind you that you are not alone, God sees your struggle, and He cares deeply for you. The Bible tells us in Psalm 34:18-19, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all." Your pain is not unseen, and your cry for healing is heard.
First, we must address the foundation of our faith. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and the power to overcome every affliction. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your life fully to Him, confessing your sins and believing in His death and resurrection for your salvation. This is the first step toward receiving the fullness of His healing and peace. If you have already done this, we rejoice with you and stand in agreement for your complete healing.
Now, let us pray together in faith, believing that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear one who is weary from the battle with epilepsy. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who formed their body in their mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13-14). You know every cell, every nerve, and every part of their being. We ask You, Father, to stretch out Your healing hand and touch them completely. We rebuke every spirit of infirmity and every attack of the enemy against their body, mind, and spirit. By the stripes of Jesus, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we declare that healing is their portion now.
Lord, we ask that You would strengthen their faith and renew their hope. Help them to trust in Your timing and Your perfect will, even when the wait feels long. Remind them that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28), and that this trial is not without purpose. Give them the grace to endure and the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Surround them with a community of believers who will pray with them, encourage them, and stand in faith alongside them.
We also pray for wisdom for their doctors and medical team. Guide their hands and their decisions, Lord, and let every treatment or medication work in harmony with Your healing power. If there are lifestyle changes or steps they need to take to cooperate with Your healing, reveal those to them clearly. Above all, Father, let Your glory be revealed through their testimony. May their healing be a testimony to Your power and love, drawing others to You.
We speak life over their body right now. We declare that every seizure is bound and cast out in Jesus’ name. We command the electrical impulses in their brain to align with God’s perfect design. We release peace, strength, and restoration over their mind, body, and soul. We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already theirs in Christ. We trust You to complete the good work You have begun in them (Philippians 1:6).
In the meantime, we encourage you to stand on God’s promises daily. Meditate on Scriptures like Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says Yahweh, and Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." Speak these truths over your life, even when circumstances seem unchanged. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1).
We also urge you to examine your life for any areas that may need repentance or surrender. Sometimes, unconfessed sin or unforgiveness can hinder our prayers (Psalm 66:18, Mark 11:25). Ask the Holy Spirit to search your heart and reveal anything that needs to be brought into the light. Confess it, repent, and receive God’s forgiveness and cleansing (1 John 1:9). This is not to condemn you but to ensure that nothing stands in the way of your healing.
Lastly, we want to remind you that God’s ways are higher than our ways (Isaiah 55:8-9). While we pray for complete physical healing, we also trust that God may use this season for His glory in ways we cannot yet see. Whether He chooses to heal you instantly, progressively, or in eternity, we know that He is good and that His love for you is unchanging. Hold fast to Him, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9).
We stand with you in faith, believing that your healing is coming. Keep your eyes on Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He will carry you through this trial. You are not defined by your illness, you are a child of the Most High God, and He has a purpose and a plan for your life. May His peace guard your heart and mind, and may His healing power flow through you now. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
