Healing

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting you up in prayer as you face the challenges of dementia and epilepsy. These are burdens no one should have to carry alone, and we stand with you in faith, trusting in the healing power of our Savior, Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is by His stripes that we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). If you have not already, we encourage you to place your trust in Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).

Father God, we ask You to stretch forth Your healing hand upon our dear brother/sister. You are the Great Physician, the One who formed their inmost being and knows every cell in their body (Psalm 139:13-14). Lord, we ask for divine intervention—restore what has been lost, strengthen what has been weakened, and bring clarity where there is confusion. We declare that by the wounds of Jesus, they are healed (1 Peter 2:24). May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We also pray for wisdom and compassion for those who care for them. May they be surrounded by love, patience, and support as they walk this difficult path. Remind them, Lord, that You are their ever-present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1).

We rebuke the spirit of infirmity in Jesus’ name. The Word declares that the prayer of faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will raise them up (James 5:15). We stand on this promise, believing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them feel Your presence in tangible ways.

If there are areas in their life where unforgiveness, bitterness, or sin may be hindering their healing, we pray for conviction and repentance. The Bible tells us that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). May they walk in the freedom and wholeness that Christ died to give them.

We also encourage you to seek godly counsel, both medically and spiritually. Proverbs 15:22 reminds us that plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers, they succeed. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Lastly, we pray for your comfort and hope. Even in the midst of suffering, we know that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). May they find joy in Your presence and strength in Your promises.

We declare healing over you in the mighty name of Jesus. May the Lord bless you and keep you; may He make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; may He turn His face toward you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26). Amen.

Seek His Face and Presence not just His hand. In his Presence is everything you need. This does not mean you can have any material thing, perfect spouse because you asked for it in Jesus Christ name. You will have your needs, some of your wants, and difficult trials. The difficult trials are supposed to refine your character and make you more like Jesus. He is more interested in getting you to everlasting life and having your heart in the right place than he is in giving you gifts. It’s eternal life he’s concerned with.
