We are truly saddened to hear about the difficulties your loved one is facing with her health and the strained communications within your family. Let's come together in prayer and seek God's will for this situation.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God is always faithful and His love endures forever. In Psalm 147:3 WEB, it is written, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." We believe that God can heal your loved one and restore her ability to walk. Remember the words of Jesus in John 5:8-9 WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'Arise, take up your mat, and walk.' Immediately, the man was made well, and took up his mat and walked."
However, we also know that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. Sometimes, God allows us to go through trials to draw us closer to Him and to accomplish His purposes in our lives. As it is written in Romans 8:28 WEB, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
Regarding the strain in family communications, we encourage you to be a peacemaker and to speak words that build others up rather than tear them down. In Ephesians 4:29 WEB, it is written, "Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear." Also, remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:9 WEB, "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our sister in Christ and her loved one who is facing health challenges. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we ask that You touch her body and heal her, so that she may walk again. We also pray for Your comfort and strength to be upon her and the family during this time.
Father, we lift up the family and ask that You help them to communicate effectively and to be united in love. Help them to be slow to speak, slow to anger, and quick to listen. Lord, let Your will be done in their lives, and may this situation draw them closer to You and to each other.
We thank You, Father, for all that You do for us. We are grateful for Your love, mercy, and grace, which are new every morning. We ask all these things in Jesus' name, Amen.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue praying and trusting in God. In Philippians 4:6-7 WEB, it is written, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Keep your faith in God, and He will see you through this challenging time.
