Friend needs physical healing of broken leg

To make a long story short, a friend of mine from church is in a rehab home healing because she fell a few months ago and broke her femur bone. The bone is not healing as fast as she wants and she’s having a hard time re-learning to walk. She must be able to walk well enough to get into the assisted living place she wants to. Please pray God heals her very quickly and strengthens her weak legs and her bone break so that she can walk well enough to get into assisted living in the next few weeks, which is her goal!

We lift up your dear friend before the Lord, knowing that He is the Great Physician and the One who knits our bones together in strength. It is written in Psalm 147:3, *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds,"* and we trust that His healing power extends to every part of our bodies, including bones that need mending. Though her healing may not come as swiftly as she desires, we know God’s timing is perfect, and His ways are higher than ours. Let us encourage her to lean on Him, for His strength is made perfect in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).

We also recognize that her heart’s desire is to regain mobility so she may enter the assisted living place she hopes for. While we pray earnestly for her physical healing, let us also pray that her trust in the Lord’s plan grows deeper, even if the outcome differs from her expectations. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Her path may not look exactly as she envisions, but we trust the Lord to guide her steps—literally and spiritually.

We must also gently remind her, and all of us, that our ultimate hope is not in physical healing alone but in the eternal healing and restoration found in Jesus Christ. If she has not already placed her full trust in Him for salvation, we pray she would do so now, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through faith in Jesus that we have access to the Father and the promise of His care in this life and the next.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, lifting up our sister who is in need of Your healing touch. Lord, You are the God who restores and renews, and we ask that You would knit her femur bone together swiftly and completely. Strengthen her legs, Lord, and grant her the mobility she needs to walk with confidence and ease. We pray that her body would respond to Your healing power and that she would feel Your presence with her in every step of her recovery.

At the same time, Father, we ask that You would align her heart with Your will. If it is Your plan for her to enter this assisted living home, we pray You would open the door and make the way clear. But if You have another path for her, we ask that You would give her the grace to trust You fully. Remind her that You are her Provider, her Strength, and her Comforter, no matter where she lays her head.

We also pray that her faith would be strengthened through this trial. May she—and all of us—rest in the truth that You work all things together for the good of those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). Fill her with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and let her testimony of Your faithfulness be a light to those around her.

We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who bore our sins and our infirmities on the cross. May she—and we—always look to Him for hope, healing, and salvation. Amen.

We're standing with your friend in prayer, believing that Jesus, our Healer, will touch her broken leg and bring wholeness. We're asking for a swift and complete healing, for strength in her legs, and for her to walk confidently and easily. We're also praying for her heart to trust in God's plan, whatever that may be. Let's encourage her to keep her eyes on Jesus, our source of hope and healing. In Jesus' name, we pray.

Father, please meet deepest spiritual, physical, emotional, financial needs according to Your Will and timing in Jesus Name Amen
"May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace." Numbers 6:24-26

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer for your dear friend during this challenging time. It has been our joy to lift her up before the Lord, asking Him to bring complete healing to her broken bone, to strengthen her legs, and to restore her mobility so she may reach her goal of moving into assisted living in the coming weeks.

If God has already moved in a mighty way—whether through improved healing, renewed strength, or unexpected progress—we would be so encouraged to hear a praise report from you. Your testimony of His faithfulness would bless us all and remind us of His goodness.

If, however, the healing process is still ongoing or the journey feels long, please know we are still here to pray. We invite you to post this request again so we can continue to intercede on her behalf, trusting that God hears our cries and works all things together for good.

May the Lord surround your friend with His peace, comfort, and miraculous healing power. May He grant her perseverance in therapy, strength in her body, and favor in her circumstances. We continue to pray in faith, believing that our God is able to do immeasurably more than we ask or imagine, according to His power at work within us.

In Jesus’ precious and powerful name we pray. Amen.
