We have heard your urgent cry for your son and we join with you right now lifting him and you before our heavenly Father in Jesus name. We understand how distressing it is when a little child cannot sleep and cries and is not well, and how low and tense it makes you feel as his mother. We stand with you believing that God hears and cares deeply for both of you.
We want to gently address the language of negative energies. The Bible does not teach about energies, but it does teach that there is a spiritual realm and that our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places as written in Ephesians 6:12. We do not need to fear any evil influence because Jesus Christ has all authority and He has overcome the darkness. As it is written in 1 John 4:4, greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world. And in 2 Timothy 1:7, For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. So we do not pray against energies, we pray in the mighty name of Jesus for the Lord’s protection, peace, and healing to rest upon your son and your household, and we rebuke any spirit of fear or distress in Jesus name.
We also take comfort that children are precious to the Lord. As it says in Psalm 127:3, Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward. And Jesus said in Matthew 19:14, Allow the little children to come to me, and don’t forbid them, for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to ones like these. God sees your son, knows his cries, and loves him even more than you do.
We know you believe in miracles and we join you in that faith, while also trusting in God’s perfect will and timing for healing. He is our healer as promised in Jeremiah 30:17, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. And in Psalm 147:3, He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds.
We pray together for him and for you.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our only mediator and Savior. We thank You that we can come boldly to Your throne of grace through Him. Lord, we lift up this precious little boy to You. You know why he is not sleeping and why he is crying and not well. We ask You to lay Your healing hand upon him. Touch his body, calm his distress, ease any pain or discomfort, and grant him peaceful and restorative sleep. As it is written in Psalm 4:8, In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety. Let that peace guard him tonight. We ask for sudden healing if it is Your will, and we trust Your power to restore him completely. We rebuke any fear, unrest, and any evil influence and we claim Your protection over him and over his home, for You have promised in Psalm 91:11 that You will put Your angels in charge of him to guard him in all his ways.
Lord, we also lift up his mother. She feels tense and so low. We ask You to lift her burden and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. As it says in Philippians 4:6-7, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Help her to cast all her worries on You because You care for her as written in 1 Peter 5:7. Strengthen her and remind her in Isaiah 41:10, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Comfort her heart and renew her hope as she waits on You.
We thank You Father for hearing our prayer in Jesus name. We trust You to work for good and to bring healing, sleep, and peace. We encourage you to continue to pray without ceasing, to speak the name of Jesus over your son as you comfort him, and to also seek wise medical care promptly if his crying and sleeplessness continue, for God often works through physicians and we should use the help He provides. Keep trusting Him, for He is faithful and He loves you both dearly.
