Urgent prayer for healing my ###

We join with you in this urgent cry for healing for your dear loved one and we lift her health before the throne of grace together in Jesus name. Our hearts are moved by your urgency and we stand with you believing that our God both hears and cares deeply for her suffering.

We take comfort in what Scripture reveals about our Healer. We are reminded that He forgives all our sins and heals all our diseases in Psalm 103:2-3, and that He has promised For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh in Jeremiah 30:17. We cling to the truth that He was pierced for our transgressions, crushed for our iniquities, the punishment that brought our peace was on him and by his wounds we are healed in Isaiah 53:5, and that by His stripes we were healed in 1 Peter 2:24. We also remember the promise that the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up in James 5:15, for He is Yahweh who heals you in Exodus 15:26.

We pray together now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this precious one to You. You know her by name, You see her body, You know every need and every fear. We ask for Your mercy and Your healing touch upon her. Rebuke every sickness and infirmity and command it to leave in Jesus name. Restore health, strengthen her body, ease her pain, and grant wisdom to all who are caring for her including physicians and loved ones. Let Your peace which surpasses all understanding guard her heart and mind and give comfort and strength to the family who loves her and is interceding for her. We ask this according to Your will and for Your glory, trusting that You are able to do far more than we ask or imagine.

We want to gently encourage you that we have access to the Father only through Jesus. We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we share this in love because Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me in John 14:6, and there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved in Acts 4:12. It is by placing our faith in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for our sins and rose again, that we are forgiven and brought near to God and can come boldly to Him in prayer. If you have not yet trusted Him, we encourage you to call upon His name today and to continue to bring every need to the Father through Him.

We encourage you to keep praying without ceasing, to keep seeking Him in His Word, and to continue to trust both His power to heal and His perfect love and wisdom in all He allows. We are standing with you and believing with you for her healing and restoration, and we trust God to work for her good and His glory in Jesus name, amen.

We hear how heavy this is and how much you love her. When someone so close is unwell every hour can feel long, and we want you to know we are standing with you in prayer right now.

We are asking God to be near both of you, to give her comfort and strength and to give wisdom to any doctors and nurses caring for her. If she is already receiving care we encourage you to stay in close contact with her medical team and to let them know of any changes, continuing to seek their guidance alongside prayer. It also helps to lean on a few trusted people around you so you are not carrying this alone, whether family, friends or your church community who can check in and help with practical needs.

We understand you cannot control the outcome and it is hard to wait. We are praying that you both sense God's presence and peace day by day as you walk through this.

Father, we lift this loved one to You and ask for Your mercy and healing hand upon her according to Your will. Give her rest, ease her body and give wisdom to those caring for her. Draw her and the one who loves her close to You, and give them peace and strength for each day. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

Your urgent cry has been heard and we take it at once to the throne of grace, for there is One who hears the prayer of those who are brought near unto the gates of death.

We are told in the Word that some are afflicted and draw near to that dark gate, their soul abhorring all manner of meat and their strength failing, yet even there prayer prevails. God will hear the prayer of a staggering man, the prayer that seems to reel to and fro because the petitioner is at his wit's end. You need not frame an orderly or eloquent petition. A true prayer from a burdened heart, though it be broken and brief, is heard by Jehovah Rophi, the Lord that heals.

There is but one great Physician who lays His hands on men and they are restored, and there is but one sacred Fountain opened on Calvary. Jesus Christ is the Tree of Life whose leaves are for the healing of the nations, and not only His fruit but the very leaves, the least touches of His grace, are full of healing virtue. Pardon and healing are one in His hand, for when He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, He showed that the healing of the soul and the healing of the body flow from the same pierced side. We will therefore plead for your loved one that the Lord would lay His healing hand upon her body according to His perfect will, and that He would grant the deeper healing of the soul which endures forever.

We join you in intercessory prayer, which is the sweetest prayer God ever hears, for our great High Priest Himself lives to intercede. It is an honor to be permitted to bear another's burden before the Lord, and we have seen that the Lord turned again the captivity of Job when he prayed for his friends. So we will remember your loved one before the Lord, pleading His promises and spreading the case before Him with all the arguments His own Word supplies. Remember the Word unto Your servant is a prayer the Holy Spirit Himself has taught us, and we may humbly ask the Lord to remember His mercy, His power, and His unfailing compassion.

We pray that the Lord in His infinite pity would look upon her in her sickness, ease her pain, restore her strength if it be His gracious will, and cause her disease to vanish at His command. And we pray also that this affliction may be made a messenger of mercy to draw both your hearts nearer to the Lord Jesus Christ, through whom alone is salvation, and to quicken you in His way. For we are on our way to eternal health where we shall without spot or wrinkle stand in His presence, and even now the abiding power of His grace keeps the soul in health world without end.

Be encouraged to continue in believing prayer, pleading with the Most High in humility of spirit and pressing your suit with the promises of His Word. He who taught penitent David to pray, Have mercy upon me, O God, will hear that same cry from you now. We will not cease to pray that the Lord our God will hear and answer with mercy, and that whether He restores in this life or keeps unto the glory life to come, you and your loved one may rejoice in His perfect restoration and give thanks unto Him who heals all our diseases.

May the Lord bless you and keep you, and may His healing virtue rest upon your loved one for His own name's sake. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your urgent request for healing for her has been heard and we are joining you in prayer before the Lord.

We ask God, who is the true physician, to lay His healing hand upon her body and restore her to health. As it has been preached, when Christ touched the body He not only quenched the fever but gave back perfect health at once, in a way no physician's art could do. While human healing often takes much time to return to former strength, His power can restore completely and immediately according to His will. We pray for that mercy for her now, for relief from sickness, for strength to be renewed, and for the wisdom of doctors and caregivers to be guided by Him.

We also pray for the deeper healing that Christ desires to give. One woman who met the Lord was not asked first about bodily health or possessions, but was led to consider matters of truth and faith, because the health of the soul is of greater value. So we pray not only for bodily healing, but that she and you would both know the grace of salvation through Jesus Christ alone, and would grow in faith, peace, and trust in Him through this trial.

Continue to bring this need to the Lord with persistence. Even when answers seem delayed, the medicine of prayer and His word is still at work, and God is able to restore and to reward those who bear suffering thankfully and look to Him. May He grant you perseverance, comfort, and hope as you wait on Him.

We pray together: Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, have mercy upon her in her illness. If it be Your will, touch her body and bring her to full health, ease her pain, and restore her strength. Forgive sins, grant repentance and faith where it is needed, and draw both of these loved ones closer to Yourself. Give peace to the heart that is anxious, sustain them through this time, and let Your will be done in all things. We ask this trusting in Your goodness and power. Amen.

Your urgent request for healing has been heard and taken to heart, and I am joining you in prayer for her health.

Prayer rests on relationship. Jesus gave His disciples a model for prayer that begins with Our Father, and that reminds us that effective prayer flows from being His child through faith in Jesus Christ. If that relationship is in place, you can come boldly to Him as Father. If it is not yet settled, the one prayer He waits to hear is, God be merciful to me, a sinner, which opens the door to all the rest.

It helps to remember who you are addressing. When you pray for healing, God reveals Himself as the Lord who heals. He desires to become to you whatever your need requires, and in this need He is Jehovah Rapha, the Lord our Healer. Coming to Him is not a matter of long or eloquent words. The prayers recorded in Scripture are often very short, even silent prayers lifted in a moment from the heart. What matters is not length but a fervent heart that cries out in real need. Scripture says the earnest, heartfelt prayer of a righteous person has great power and accomplishes much.

Healing prayer was part of the life of Jesus and the early church, and we see them bringing the sick to the Lord and to the apostles for prayer. We also learn that prayer is not informing God of something He does not know, for your Father knows what you need before you ask. And prayer is not a way to make God do what we want. Its purpose is to see His will done. True prayer begins with God and His purposes, He makes His will known to our hearts, we speak it back to Him, and He acts. For that reason the wisest prayer we can pray is, Lord, work out Your perfect will in this situation and in our lives.

That does not mean we hold back our request. We bring it plainly and we agree together for it, because Jesus said that if two or three agree on earth concerning anything they ask, it will be done. I am agreeing with you now that God would touch her body, bring healing according to His mercy and power, and give wisdom to all who care for her.

We also trust His answer, whatever form it takes. The apostle Paul prayed three times for his own affliction to be removed, and the Lord answered, My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness. Even the prophet through whom God did many miracles faced times when healing came differently than expected. And when King Hezekiah was sick to the point of death, he prayed and wept before the Lord, and God said, I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears. God extended his life and even used medicine, a poultice of figs, as part of the healing. There is nothing wrong with using the help of doctors and medicine, God often uses those means to bring healing, and He can also heal without them.

Do not worry if your prayers feel brief or broken. God hears the cry of the heart, and His Spirit brings assurance and comfort as you pray. Much of prayer is worship, simply recognizing His greatness, His kingdom, His power and glory, and resting in His faithfulness and righteousness.

So let us pray together now. Father, in the name of Jesus we bring this dear one to You. You know her need completely and You love her more than we do. We ask You to reveal Yourself as her healer, to touch her body, to ease her suffering, to restore health as it pleases You. Give wisdom to those treating her, peace to those who love her, and faith to trust Your perfect will. We ask not that our will be done, but Yours, and we trust Your grace to be sufficient whatever You choose to do. Let Your kingdom, Your power and Your glory be seen in this. Amen.

Please keep bringing this need to Him. He hears, He sees, and He cares.
