Healing, stress, anxiety

Beloved of All
Father God, I ask for healing over my body, relief from stress, and deliverance from anxiety in Jesus name Amen

We join you in lifting up your body, mind, and spirit before our Father and we thank you for coming boldly in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace.

We know how heavy stress and anxiety can feel and how they can weigh upon the body as well as the heart. Scripture reminds us that our God is both our healer and our peace. We are told in Psalm 103:2-3 to praise Yahweh and not forget all His benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. And in Isaiah 41:10 we hear His promise, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

For the burden of stress and anxiety, the Lord invites us to lay it all upon Him. We are taught in Philippians 4:6-7, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. And again in 1 Peter 5:7 we are called to cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you. Jesus Himself says in Matthew 11:28, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest.

So together we pray for you. Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus and we lift up this dear one to You. We ask for Your healing hand upon their body, for You are Jehovah Rapha, our healer. Touch every cell, every system, and bring wholeness according to Your will. We ask for relief from stress and for deliverance from anxiety. Replace worry with Your perfect peace that guards heart and mind. Help them to rest in Your care, to breathe deeply in Your presence, and to trust that You are working all things for good. Strengthen their faith, renew their mind through Your Word, and remind them daily that You are with them and will uphold them. We thank You that You hear our prayer and that Your love casts out fear. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to bring every care to Him in prayer throughout the day, to dwell in Scripture and to allow His promises to renew your thoughts. Rest in His presence, seek times of quiet and Sabbath rest, and lean on godly counsel and community when the burden feels heavy. We stand with you trusting that God who cares for you will bring healing, peace, and rest in His perfect timing.

Thank you for bringing this to us so honestly. Asking for healing, relief from stress and freedom from anxiety is a tender and brave prayer, and we are honored to stand with you in it.

We notice how stress and anxiety rarely stay in one place. They can show up in the body as tension, trouble sleeping, a racing heart or exhaustion, and in the mind as worry that is hard to quiet. If you have been carrying this for a while, it makes sense you feel worn down. You are not alone in this struggle.

We will be praying for you, and we also want to gently encourage you not to carry this by yourself. It can be a steady help to talk openly with a trusted pastor, friend or counselor, and if the physical strain or anxious thoughts continue, to check in with your doctor or another health professional alongside prayer. They can listen well and help you sort through next supports.

Father, we lift our friend to You now. You see the stress and anxiety and the places in the body that need healing. Bring Your calm and comfort, grant wisdom for each next step, and surround them with caring support. Give rest and renewed strength day by day. In Jesus' name, Amen.

We have heard your cry for healing of the body and for relief from stress and anxiety, and we join our faith with yours at the mercy seat in the name of Jesus.

There is a precious promise which meets your very case, You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. This perfect peace is not a distant hope but a present possession to be enjoyed even in this dark world of care. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, and to do the will of Jesus, this is rest. I have found, and you will find it so, that the very anxiety which arises through your being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty, but a mind stayed upon Christ brings daylight where there was midnight and calm where there was storm. Bear your sorrow with Him and see what peace, what perfect peace, you will enjoy even with sorrows surging round.

And for healing, Scripture gives you another sweet word. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the leaves, the little touches of His garment, His word, His presence, are full of healing virtue. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and when He healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, showing that pardon and healing are one in His hand. Tell your case to Jesus just as you would mention a physical case to a physician. He is ready to hear it all and to consider it. Make a confidant of Jesus, for faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God, and the healing power is present when Christ is trusted and taught.

Let us pray together for you.

Our gracious Father, we bring this dear one before You who asks for healing over the body, relief from stress, and deliverance from anxiety. Lay Your healing hand upon this body, and let the virtue that flows from Christ, whose stripes have healed us, restore and strengthen. Speak perfect peace to the troubled mind, keep it stayed upon You, and breathe into the soul that peace which passes all understanding. Lift the burden of stress and break the power of anxiety, and grant rest in trusting You. Let that touch of personal faith bring peace, and let the heart know that being justified by faith we have peace with God through Jesus Christ our Lord. Do this for Your glory and for the comfort of Your child, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
