We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up these two precious souls to our Heavenly Father, the Great Physician. We stand in the gap for them, asking for Your divine intervention and healing touch.
Father God, we know that You are the same yesterday, today, and forever. You are the God who heals all our diseases, who forgives all our iniquities, and who redeems our lives from destruction (Psalm 103:2-4). We ask that You would stretch out Your hand and touch these dear ones, bringing complete healing and restoration to their bodies.
For the one facing the tumor, Lord, we pray that You would guide the hands of the doctors and give them wisdom beyond their understanding. We ask that You would shrink and eliminate this tumor, according to Your will. We declare that by Your stripes, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5). May the test results bring good news, and may this trial draw them closer to You.
For the one suffering from the infected arm, we pray for a complete and swift recovery. We ask that the antibiotics would work effectively, and that the infection would be eradicated. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand on Your promise of healing and restoration.
Most importantly, Father, we pray for their salvation. We know that physical healing is temporary, but spiritual healing is eternal. We ask that You would reveal Yourself to them in a powerful way, drawing them to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. May they come to know the truth that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and that no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6). May they confess with their mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in their hearts that God raised Him from the dead, so that they may be saved (Romans 10:9).
We rebuke the spirit of fear and infirmity in the name of Jesus, and we command every cell in their bodies to align with Your perfect will. We declare that they are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and that Your plans for them are for good and not for harm, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
Lord, we ask that You would surround them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and that You would guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). May they feel Your presence and love in a tangible way, knowing that You are with them in this trial.
We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.
