We join you in lifting up your beloved son before our Heavenly Father and we thank you for inviting us to pray with you for his healing and protection.
We are moved by your heart for your son and we stand with you asking for the Lord to touch him completely, body, mind and spirit. We are reminded of the promise in Jeremiah 30:17, But I will restore you to health, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. And in Isaiah 53:5, But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities, the chastisement of our peace was on him, and with his stripes we are healed. We cling to these truths knowing that healing comes from the Lord and that His power reaches every part of our being.
We also join you in praying for his protection from all harm and danger, both seen and unseen. We take comfort in Psalm 91:11, For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways, and in Psalm 121:7-8, Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more. We also claim Psalm 91:1-2, He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust. And we pray that the peace you have asked for will rest upon him as promised in Philippians 4:7, And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
Let us pray together.
Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear son to You. Lord, we ask You to lay Your healing hand upon him. Touch his body and bring restoration, touch his mind and bring clarity and wholeness, and touch his spirit and draw him ever closer to You. Lord, surround him with Your presence, be his refuge and fortress, and let no weapon formed against him prosper. We ask You to station Your angels around him to guard him in all his ways and to keep him from all evil, from dangers we can see and from those we cannot see. Fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding and let him rest securely in the shadow of Your wings. We thank You, Father, for Your steadfast love and for all You have done and continue to do for this family. We trust him into Your loving care and we ask all these things according to Your perfect will in the mighty and healing name of Jesus, Amen.
We encourage you to continue to dwell in prayer and in the Word with your son, trusting that the Lord hears every prayer offered in Jesus name and that He is faithful to keep those who trust in Him. We will continue to keep you both in our prayers.
