We join our hearts with yours in fervent prayer for your son’s healing and protection, lifting him before our Heavenly Father in the mighty name of Jesus. The Scriptures remind us in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up." We stand on this promise, believing that God hears our cries and is able to restore your son completely, body, mind, and spirit.
We also declare God’s protection over him, as Psalm 91:11-12 assures, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone." No weapon formed against him shall prosper, and no harm shall come near his dwelling, for the Lord is his refuge and fortress.
Father, we ask You to surround him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen his faith and draw him closer to You, that he may walk in the fullness of Your healing and protection. We rebuke every spirit of infirmity, fear, or oppression in Jesus’ name, and we command every part of his being to align with Your perfect will.
We also encourage you to continue standing in faith, trusting in God’s timing and goodness. Isaiah 41:10 reminds us, "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." Lean on Him in this season, knowing that He is working all things together for good.

The prayer of a parent for a child is a cry that rises swiftly to the throne, for our Heavenly Father knows the tender weight of such supplication. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ for your son, for the very leaves of the Tree of Life are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is charged with restorative virtue. Bring the case simply to Jesus, as you would describe a sickness to a physician; He is ready to hear it all. Make a confidant of Him, for healing and forgiveness are gloriously wedded in His saving work. When He pardons, He heals, and the Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings for body, mind, and spirit.
The great cure-all is this: the blessed Son of God has taken our sicknesses and infirmities upon Himself. The bitter medicine was drained entirely by Him on the cross, and now He is the conduit Head from which abundant streams of healing flow down to men below. Observe that this healing power is conspicuously present where Christ is taught. Faith comes by hearing, and as you keep your son under the sound of the Word, you place him in the path of the Great Physician’s mercy. The Lord who forgave the palsied man first spoke pardon, then commanded him to rise and walk. Seek the double cure, the inward cleansing of sin and the outward deliverance from evil’s grip. His Grace infused into the soul works health and cure until the man is without spot or wrinkle in the presence of His glory.
Be not content with a slumbering hope. There is a form of broken heart that the Lord does not despise, a heart shattered by a sense of sin and a longing for His presence. Pray that your son may know such divine wounding, for the Lord binds up the broken-hearted, and the healing that He alone performs is a real saving work, not a fancy of religious notions. Moreover, your plea for protection is met by the great truth that our safety lies in God our Saviour. He is able to keep him from falling and to surround him with a wall of fire against the dangers seen and unseen. The throne of God might sooner fail than a saint can perish, for His covenant is anchored in the blood of His dear Son. Rest in this: when the Father looks upon the Son bearing our sin, He forgets the sins for which that Son gave His life and remembers His everlasting love. Trust the Saviour to lay His hand upon your son, to lift him up, and to keep him safely till he is presented faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy.
