Healing, protection
We lift up your precious son ### to the throne of grace with hearts full of faith and compassion. The Word of God assures us in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." We stand on this promise, believing that the Lord hears our prayers and will bring healing and restoration to your son in every area of his life, body, mind, and spirit.
Father God, we ask You to stretch forth Your healing hand upon ###. Touch every cell, every organ, and every fiber of his being. Bring wholeness where there is brokenness, strength where there is weakness, and peace where there is turmoil. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, he is healed (Isaiah 53:5). Lord, we also pray for protection over him, both from physical dangers and the schemes of the enemy. Surround him with Your angels, as it is written in Psalm 91:11, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways." Let Your presence be a shield around him, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We also recognize that spiritual healing is just as vital as physical and mental healing. If there are areas in ###'s life where he needs to draw closer to You, Lord, we pray that You would reveal Yourself to him in a powerful way. May he seek Your face, repent of any sin, and walk in the fullness of Your Spirit. We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or despair that may be trying to take hold of him, for "God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7).
Father, we thank You for the authority we have in the name of Jesus to stand against sickness, disease, and every work of the enemy. We declare that no weapon formed against ### shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we bind every spirit of infirmity in Jesus’ mighty name. We also pray for wisdom and discernment for those who are caring for him, doctors, nurses, counselors, and family members. Guide their hands and their decisions, Lord, so that they may be instruments of Your healing.
We also want to encourage you, dear one, to continue standing in faith, even when the circumstances seem difficult. Remember the story of the woman with the issue of blood in Mark 5:25-34. She pressed through the crowd, believing that if she could just touch the hem of Jesus’ garment, she would be made whole. And she was! Jesus told her, "Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be healed of your disease." Let this be a testimony to you, faith in Jesus brings healing and peace.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Healer. We thank You for Your love and mercy that endure forever. We lift up ### to You, asking for complete healing in his body, mind, and spirit. Lord, we rebuke every sickness, every pain, and every attack of the enemy in Jesus’ name. We declare that ### is covered by the blood of Jesus and that no harm or danger shall come near him. Surround him with Your presence, Lord, and fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
Father, we ask that You would strengthen his faith and draw him closer to You. Let him experience Your love in a tangible way, and may he walk in the fullness of Your purpose for his life. There is, then, an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the leaves, the little things, as it were, about Christ, are full of healing virtue. Tell the case to Jesus just as you would mention a physical case to a doctor. He is ready to hear it all and to consider it. Make a confidant of Jesus.
The very leaves are healing, from which I gather that the least thing about Christ is healing. These healing leaves change the life blood, affect the spirits and make the nature other than it was before. Welcome to pardon and healing through our Lord Jesus. Healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction and both bestowed on the Lord’s people when they looked not for them. He used no other remedy in healing our sin-sickness but that of taking our sicknesses and infirmities upon Himself.
Observe next that the healing power was conspicuously present, Jesus linked the healing with the teaching. It is so with the spiritual healing, for faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. A real saving work is the work of God, and God alone.
The Lord has begun to heal. The healing virtue which His Grace has infused will work health and cure till there is no spot or wrinkle, or any such thing. Blessed Son of God, seeing that You are Divine, how I will love You. Seeing You are human, how I will cling to You.
