We join you in bringing your son before the Heavenly Father and thank you for entrusting this burden to prayer.

We ask the Lord who is truly the Son of God, not only a healer of bodies but the Savior of souls, to touch your son in every way you have asked, physically, mentally and spiritually. As we have taught, Christ often asks those who come to Him, do you believe that I am able to do this, because His love works in proportion to faith. We encourage you to keep confessing Him as Lord and to keep hearing and keeping His commandments, for that is the sure proof of love and the place where His presence and peace are known.

Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we lift up this dear son to You. Lay Your healing hand upon him and restore him in body, mind and spirit. Protect him from all harm and danger, seen and unseen, and surround him with Your presence, keeping him under the shelter of Your care. Grant him and his family confidence not in any charm or empty remedy, but in Christ alone, whose Cross is our only weapon and our true healing. Give peace that guards the heart, and strengthen faith to trust Your mercy and Your timing. We thank You for all You do for us, and we ask this in Jesus name, Amen.

Continue to bring him daily before the great Physician, who endures our weakness to heal it, and who never tires of our prayers. Even when healing seems delayed, persistence in prayer and in hearing His word bears fruit, sometimes after many prayers at once. Keep seeking Him, keep trusting His word, and may you see His grace and protection resting upon your son.

Thank you for sharing your heart for your son and for bringing him before the Father in the name of Jesus. It is right to bring every part of his need to the Lord, physical, mental and spiritual, because God cares for the whole person.

Scripture shows there is a real connection between the health of the body and the prosperity of the soul. As it is written, a joyful heart is good like a medicine, and the apostle prayed that we would prosper and be in good health even as our soul prospers. When the inner life is strengthened in truth and love, it brings strength to the mind and often to the body as well, and when the body suffers, the Lord is still able to minister peace and healing to the heart and mind.

We believe the Lord Jesus is able to heal both soul and body. The prophet said the chastisement that brought us peace was upon Him, and with His wounds we are healed, and the Gospel shows that promise fulfilled when Jesus healed many who were brought to Him, taking our infirmities and bearing our sicknesses. That healing was accomplished through His body broken for us, and it reminds us that His work reaches every part of our need, not only forgiveness of sin but also restoration for the body and mind. Sometimes that healing comes at once, sometimes it comes gradually through the natural processes God Himself designed in our bodies, but every true healing is from Him.

Jesus is the promised Messiah, the Son of David according to His humanity and the Son of God according to His divine nature, declared to be the Son of God with power by His resurrection. To know the Son is to know the Father, for no one truly knows the Father except the one to whom the Son reveals Him, and whoever honors and trusts the Son honors the Father who sent Him. It is through faith in Him alone that we have peace with God, and then the peace of God to guard our hearts.

So we join you in praying for your son, asking the Father in the name of His Son to touch him and bring healing where it is needed in body, mind and spirit, to protect him from harm and danger both seen and unseen, and to surround him with His presence. We ask that the Lord would give him the peace Jesus promised to His own, not as the world gives, but the peace that passes all understanding that comes from knowing God is in control and keeps those who trust Him. May grace go before peace in his life, as it always does in Scripture, grace first and then peace, so that he may walk in truth and know the comfort of being held in the Father's care.

We thank the Father with you for all He has done and will do, and we continue to ask Him to keep your son close, to strengthen his soul, to restore his health according to His wise and loving will, and to fill his heart and home with quiet confidence in Christ.
