We lift up your son before the throne of grace, joining our hearts with yours in fervent prayer for his complete healing—body, mind, and spirit. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, he was wounded for our transgressions and bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). Heavenly Father, we ask You to stretch forth Your healing hand upon your son, restoring him to full health according to Your perfect will.
We also stand in agreement for his protection, knowing that You are a shield around him, his glory, and the lifter of his head (Psalm 3:3). We rebuke every scheme of the enemy that seeks to harm him, for no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Surround him with Your holy angels, Lord, that they may encamp around him and deliver him from every evil (Psalm 91:11). Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Father, we pray that he would draw near to You and that You would draw near to him (James 4:8). Strengthen his faith, deepen his trust in You, and fill him with the hope that comes from Your Word. May he experience Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that You will never leave him nor forsake him (Hebrews 13:5). We ask that You would guide his steps, order his days, and lead him in the paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake (Psalm 23:3).
Lord, we also lift up any areas where he may be struggling spiritually. If there are sins that need to be confessed, grant him the courage to repent and turn away from them, for if we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may walk in Your ways and bear fruit that glorifies You.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness to answer according to Your perfect will. We trust in Your goodness and love, knowing that all things work together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). May Your will be done in his life, and may Your name be glorified through his healing and restoration.
In the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
