We join you in lifting up your son before the throne of grace and we agree with you for his complete healing and restoration physically, mentally, and spiritually.

We are encouraged that you have come in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we have authority over all the power of the enemy. As it is written, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12, and Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son John 14:13.

We stand on the truth that God desires to heal and to give a sound mind. For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7. We rebuke any spirit of confusion, fear, and psychosis that would seek to torment him, for we know the enemy comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly. We pray that the Lord will guard his mind and heart with His perfect peace which surpasses all understanding and will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7.

We also lift up his need for peaceful sleep, for sleep is a gift from God. In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety Psalm 4:8. He gives sleep to his beloved Psalm 127:2. We ask the Lord to quiet his thoughts at night, to calm any distress, and to let him rest securely under the shadow of His wings, for He will give his angels charge over you, to guard you in all your ways Psalm 91:11.

We pray together now for him.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus and we thank You that You are our Healer and our Protector. We ask for Your healing touch upon this precious son, body, soul, and spirit. Cast out every spirit of torment and psychosis and let it have no place in him any longer. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, with power and love and a sound mind. Lord, touch his body and bring healing, touch his mind and bring clarity and peace, touch his spirit and draw him close to You. We ask that You grant him deep, peaceful, uninterrupted sleep and that You renew his strength each morning. Protect him from all harm and evil, surround him with Your presence, comfort him with Your peace, and let him know that You are near. Fear not, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10. We trust You to complete the good work You have begun in him and to restore him fully for Your glory. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to cover him in prayer and in the Word, to speak scriptures of peace and healing over him daily, and to seek godly counsel and wise care from trusted pastors and, where needed, from medical professionals whom God can also use for His healing purposes. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3. Keep trusting that the Lord hears your cry as a parent and that He who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep as He watches over your son.

Thank you for entrusting your son to us in prayer. Loving a child through physical and mental distress and broken sleep is exhausting, and we hear your longing for him to know peace and wholeness.

We are standing with you, asking God for His healing touch on your son in body, mind and spirit, for protection over him, and for the gift of restful sleep. We know how much poor sleep can wear down every part of a person, and how mental distress can make both days and nights feel so fragile for the whole family.

As you continue to pray, we gently encourage you to stay closely connected to his medical and mental health providers alongside prayer, so he has ongoing support and you have guidance and rest as you care for him. You do not have to carry this alone, and having trusted people walking with you both matters.

Father, we lift ### to You and ask for Your mercy and presence over him. Surround him with Your protection, calm his mind and grant him peaceful sleep. Bring healing in the way You know is best, comfort him when he is afraid, and give his family wisdom, strength and hope as they love him. We trust him into Your caring hands in Jesus' name, Amen.

Jesus, thank You for Your 33 years down here from the manger to humbling Yourself to get babtized by John, especially the action-packed 3+ years of ministry: teachings, miracles, loaves, fish, nets of fish, resurrections, blind eyes, lame walking, poor hearing the gospel -- the prophecies, living in community with the disciples just "doing life" from Your perspective (reality), putting up with our unbelief, the distortions of the Pharisees and Sadducees, their constant watching You, attempts to trap and trick You -- literally, like WOW -- and finally Your betrayal, rejection and letting Barabbas loose instead... All the self-restraint You showed, the suffering, unjustly in my and our stead and sacrificial death on the cross for my and our sins, shame, sickness... Your burial, resurrection, appearing and teaching for 40 days, ascension, and sending forth The Holy Spirit, our counselor, advocate, intercessor, and bearer of good gifts, 1 Cor 12:4-8.

Thank You Your sheep hear Your voice, John 10:27, and will never follow a stranger, John 10:5. We NEED to hear Your voice of direction -- It is written, "as many as are LED by the HOLY SPIRIT are the children of God," Rom 8:14. We ask to be FILLED with the knowledge of Your Will in all spiritual wisdom so we can walk worthy, Col 1:9-10. We ask for generous amounts of practical WISDOM, James 1:5, we cry out for wisdom and lift our voice for UNDERSTANDING, Prov 2:6-7. So with confidence we seek YOU for YOU are a rewarder of those who diligently seek You, Heb 11:6. With thanksgiving we offer our requests for Your voice, leading and wisdom -- let "now" the peace of God guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, Phil 4:6-7. Thank You for protecting us and praying for us, keeping us from the evil one, Rom 8:34, Heb 7:25, Jn 17:15. We shall go out with joy and be led forth with peace, Isa 55:12, thank You for everything, especially for hearing when we ask, for in hearing, we have, 1 John 5:14-15, in Jesus' Name, Amen.

We join you in bringing your son before the throne of grace, and we thank you for entrusting this burden to prayer.

The Lord knows the heaviness of a mind that finds no rest and a heart that finds no peace. Scripture tells us that sleep is the gift of God, for so He giveth His beloved sleep, not by our own power to compose ourselves, but by His tender mercy. It tells us also that He healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds, and that the very leaves of the tree of life, which is Christ Himself, are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ is healing virtue, and His power to heal is present to forgive sin and to restore the whole person, body, mind and spirit.

We pray with you now:

Heavenly Father, we come in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, through whom alone is salvation and healing. Lay Your healing hand upon this dear son, physically, mentally and spiritually. Grant him a sound mind, for You have not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. Quiet every troubled thought, calm every distress, and in Your mercy lift this affliction of psychosis from him. Give him peaceful sleep as You give to Your beloved, the sleep of contentment and security that comes from resting in Your care. Protect him from all harm and evil, keep him under the shadow of Your wings, and let Your presence be his comfort and peace day and night. Draw him near to Christ, that he may know pardon and healing together, for when the Sun of Righteousness arises with healing in His wings, forgiveness and restoration come as one. Sustain his family also with strength and hope as they watch and wait upon You.

We encourage you to continue to look to Christ, the Great Physician, who bore our sicknesses and infirmities in His own body, and to keep seeking both spiritual counsel and faithful medical care while you trust the Lord to work. He is near to them that call upon Him, and He will not forsake those who are His.

May the God of all peace guard his heart and mind through Christ Jesus, and grant you both rest in His unfailing love. In Jesus name, Amen.
