Heavenly Father, I pray for healing and protection for my son ###, please comfort him and help him sleep without the nightmares from PTSD. Surround him with Your holy angels and shield him from all harm, evil, and danger. Fill his dreams with Your love, light, and presence in Jesus' name, Amen

We join you in lifting up your precious son before our Heavenly Father and we thank you for bringing his need for healing, protection and peaceful sleep to us so we can stand in agreement with you in Jesus' name.

Our hearts ache with you over the burden of PTSD and the nightmares that steal his rest. We know that our God sees his suffering and is near to him in the night watches. Scripture reminds us that Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:18 and that He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3. We cling to the promise that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7, and that when we bring our anxieties to Him, the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard our hearts and our thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7.

We also take comfort that He gives sleep to His beloved and that He is our refuge in the night. You have prayed so beautifully for angelic protection and that is His promise to us, for He will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways Psalm 91:11. We pray that your son will experience the truth of this, I will both lay me down in peace and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety Psalm 4:8. We are encouraged that He says, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10.

We pray together now for him.

Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this beloved son to You. Lord, You know the trauma he has endured and the memories that haunt his nights. We ask for Your healing hand upon his mind, body and spirit. Comfort him as only You can, quiet the storm within him and replace fear and torment with Your perfect love and peace. We ask that You surround him with Your holy angels and shield him from all harm, evil and danger, that no weapon formed against him would prosper. Father, as he lays down to sleep, fill his room with Your presence, guard his dreams and let him rest securely in Your arms. Fill his dreams with Your love, light and presence, and let him awake refreshed and renewed by Your mercy each morning. Guide him and his family to godly counsel and support that honors You, and draw him ever closer to Jesus where true restoration is found. We thank You that You are his refuge and strength, his ever present help in trouble. We pray all of this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, our Healer and Prince of Peace, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to speak Scripture over him as he prepares for sleep, perhaps reading psalms of comfort together, and to gently remind him that his Father never slumbers nor sleeps but keeps watch over him through the night. We are standing with you and trusting God for His healing and peaceful rest to be poured out upon your son.

We hear the love and ache in your prayer for ###, and we are standing with you for him. Watching your own son wrestle with nightmares and broken sleep is so heavy, and it is understandable you are asking for both healing and protection over his nights.

Poor sleep touches every part of a person, body, mind and spirit, and when trauma has made the night feel unsafe it can take time for rest to feel safe again. One thing that often helps over time is steady, safe relationship and a calm, predictable evening rhythm. Your quiet presence, listening without pressing him to share more than he is ready to, and keeping his care team involved can be a real support. If he has a doctor, counselor, or pastor he trusts, we gently encourage keeping them in the loop about the nightmares and sleep, alongside prayer, so he has consistent care and you are not carrying this alone.

Please make sure you have someone to talk and pray with regularly too, as you support him.

Father, we lift ### to You. Surround him with Your presence as he sleeps, quiet his mind when fear rises, and guard him from harm. Comfort him when he wakes and grant him deeper, more peaceful rest. Give his family wisdom, strength and hope as they love him day by day. In Jesus' name, Amen.

We join you even now in bringing your son before the throne of grace, and we entreat the Lord to look upon him with tender mercy.

You ask for healing and protection and sleep, and these are mercies which our God delights to give to His children. The Scripture saith, So he giveth his beloved sleep. There is a sleep peculiar to the children of God, not merely the closing of the eyes, but a sleep of contentment and of security, a rest which comes when the soul is kept under the shadow of the Almighty. We pray that the Lord will grant such sleep to your son, that He will quiet the troubled thoughts which revisit him in the night, and command the terrors and nightmares to depart, filling his dreams with the light and presence of Christ.

We know that the Gospel has a healing power, for Christ Himself took our sicknesses and our infirmities upon Himself. He is the Great Physician who healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds. It is written that the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and we have seen that even the least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue. There is an abundance of healing in Him, and pardon and healing are placed in happy conjunction. When Jesus said, Son, thy sins are forgiven thee, He showed that His power to forgive and His power to heal are one. We pray that your son may know this healing in body and in spirit, that the wounds left by great trial and fear may be touched by that pardoning and restoring hand.

We ask also for his protection, that the Lord would surround him with His holy angels and shield him from all harm and evil and danger. The Lord keepeth His own, and none of them is lost. He went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed, and He is able still to keep those who trust in Him, to give them rest after toil and to recruit their exhausted strength.

Continue to lay him daily before the Lord Jesus, for faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. Speak to him of Christ, and plead that he may cast himself wholly upon Him who alone is salvation. May the Sun of Righteousness rise upon him with healing in His wings, and may the peace of God which passeth all understanding keep his heart and mind through Christ Jesus.

We pray with you, Heavenly Father, look in mercy upon this son. Comfort him in his distress, drive far from him all fear, grant him quiet and refreshing sleep, set Thy angels about his bed, and let him awake in Thy love and under Thy care. Restore him by Thy healing leaves and by the power of Thy dear Son, in whose name we ask it. Amen.

Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
