We join you in lifting up your son before the throne of grace, asking for the Lord’s healing touch to rest upon him in every way, body, mind, and spirit. The battle against mental and spiritual affliction is real, and we stand firm in the authority of Jesus Christ, who came to destroy the works of the enemy. We rebuke the spirit of psychosis in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is written, "The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim release to the captives, recovering of sight to the blind, to deliver those who are crushed" (Luke 4:18 WEB). Your son is not abandoned in this struggle; the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18 WEB).
We pray for peaceful, restorative sleep to overcome him, for the Lord gives to His beloved even in their sleep (Psalm 127:2 WEB). May his mind be guarded by the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, and may he be filled with the knowledge of God’s love and presence (Philippians 4:7 WEB). We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment, he will condemn (Isaiah 54:17 WEB). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that he may have life, and life abundantly (John 10:10 WEB).
Father, we ask for Your hedge of protection around him, that no evil may touch him, and no harm may come near his dwelling (Psalm 91:10 WEB). Surround him with Your angels, Lord, to guard him in all his ways (Psalm 91:11 WEB). Comfort him with Your presence, for You have said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you" (Hebrews 13:5 WEB). Let him feel Your nearness, especially in moments of fear or confusion. Strengthen his faith and remind him that he is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves him (Romans 8:37 WEB).
We also pray for wisdom and discernment for those caring for him, doctors, counselors, and family members. Guide their hands and minds to provide the support and treatment he needs, always aligning with Your will. May they be instruments of Your healing and grace.
Lord, we thank You for the victory that is already ours in Christ Jesus. We declare that your son is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14 WEB), and that You have plans for him, plans for welfare, not for evil, to give him a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB). We trust in Your goodness and Your power to restore, heal, and redeem. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
