Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, I ask for Your healing touch upon my son ### - physically, mentally, and spiritually. Cast out the spirit of psychosis, and bless him with peaceful sleep and a sound mind. Protect him from all harm and evil and comfort him with Your presence and peace, In Jesus’ name, Amen

We join you in lifting up your son before the throne of grace, asking for the Lord’s healing touch to rest upon him in every way, body, mind, and spirit. The battle against mental and spiritual affliction is real, and we stand firm in the authority of Jesus Christ, who came to destroy the works of the enemy. We rebuke the spirit of psychosis in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is written, "The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim release to the captives, recovering of sight to the blind, to deliver those who are crushed" (Luke 4:18 WEB). Your son is not abandoned in this struggle; the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18 WEB).

We pray for peaceful, restorative sleep to overcome him, for the Lord gives to His beloved even in their sleep (Psalm 127:2 WEB). May his mind be guarded by the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, and may he be filled with the knowledge of God’s love and presence (Philippians 4:7 WEB). We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment, he will condemn (Isaiah 54:17 WEB). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that he may have life, and life abundantly (John 10:10 WEB).

Father, we ask for Your hedge of protection around him, that no evil may touch him, and no harm may come near his dwelling (Psalm 91:10 WEB). Surround him with Your angels, Lord, to guard him in all his ways (Psalm 91:11 WEB). Comfort him with Your presence, for You have said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you" (Hebrews 13:5 WEB). Let him feel Your nearness, especially in moments of fear or confusion. Strengthen his faith and remind him that he is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves him (Romans 8:37 WEB).

We also pray for wisdom and discernment for those caring for him, doctors, counselors, and family members. Guide their hands and minds to provide the support and treatment he needs, always aligning with Your will. May they be instruments of Your healing and grace.

Lord, we thank You for the victory that is already ours in Christ Jesus. We declare that your son is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14 WEB), and that You have plans for him, plans for welfare, not for evil, to give him a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB). We trust in Your goodness and Your power to restore, heal, and redeem. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Father please heal ###. Please deliver him. Please grant him peaceful sleep and a sound mind. Please protect him from harm and evil. Please comfort him and draw him close to yourself. Please give him your peace, your Shalom. Thank you and praise you. In Jesus name. Amen

We’re grateful you’ve shared this burden for your son. It’s clear you love him deeply, and we join you in bringing these needs, healing, peace, sleep, before God.

While we pray, we also want to gently encourage you to have your son seen by a doctor or mental health professional if you haven’t already. Psychosis can have many layers, including physical or chemical imbalances, and God often uses medicine and careful counseling as part of restoring someone to soundness. Getting a thorough evaluation can be a wise, loving step alongside your prayers, not a substitute for them, but a way of inviting God’s help through the resources He’s provided.

We’re especially mindful of your request for peaceful sleep. When the mind is unsettled, rest can feel impossible, but sleep is a gift God designed to renew us in deep ways. We ask Him to quiet what is racing and frightened in your son, to give him the rest that restores both body and soul, and to comfort him with a sense of His nearness even through the night.

Father, thank You for the love that cares enough to plead for a child. We ask for Your healing touch on this young man, physically, mentally, and spiritually. Where there is confusion or torment, bring Your order and peace. Protect him from evil, grant him soundness of mind, and give him sleep that is truly restful. Surround him with Your presence, and steady the hearts of all who are walking this road with him. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

A mother’s prayer is a sweet fragrance before the mercy seat, and you have done well to bring your child into the presence of the Great Physician. There is a peculiar preciousness in pleading for our children when they are wrestling with darkness in mind and spirit. The subtle assault of a disordered imagination is not beyond the reach of Him who once cast legions into swine; Christ still speaks and the storm within a man obeys.

Sleep is the gift of God. He alone steeps the weary brain in gentle forgetfulness and bids the troubled frame lie down in safety. For the beloved of the Lord there is a covenant rest, not only in the grave but at this very hour, and He can command the raging thoughts to be still and compose the shattered nerves into sweet repose. Do not think this is a small request: the Lord who watches over Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps and He delights to give His dear ones slumber as a love token.

Yet I would have you look to the deeper need. Bodily and mental healing are but the leaves of that tree whose root is the forgiveness of sin. Did not our Master first pronounce pardon and then command the palsied man to rise? The leper came with his hideous disease, and before the word of cleansing was spoken, the Saviour touched him and made him whole, sin’s stain and body’s ruin departing at once. So it is with that dear son of yours. There is balm in Gilead for his every wound, but the chief medicine is the blood of atonement which washes away guilt and brings a peace that passeth all understanding. When Jesus saith, “Thy sins be forgiven thee,” the soul is lifted from the fearful pit and the mind begins to be clothed in its right frame.

Therefore, while you cry for his healing and his sleep, cry mightily that he may know the Lord himself, for “He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.” No hand but His can bind up the broken spirit; no voice but His can say to the dark phantoms, “Depart.” And remember, you do not wrestle alone. Hold fast the form of sound words which you have learned from the Scriptures, for it is the truth that makes free; a false creed gives no peace to a tossed soul, but the everlasting gospel is a rock beneath the feet. Let not your own spirit sleep in a worldly ease while the battle rages; be watchful, stand fast in the faith, and plead the promises without ceasing. At the same time, cast all your burden upon Him, for even the least word that fell from Christ’s lips carries healing in it. His very touch drove out fever; His shadow falling on a sufferer brought wholeness. The power that worked then works now, and His arm is not shortened.

Protection, too, is His pledge. The Lord shall preserve your son from all evil; He shall preserve his soul. Commend him into the Shepherd’s hands, and He will keep him as the apple of His eye. Yea, when the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him. Be comforted, and let your faith not waver. The very hairs of his head are numbered, and he is far more precious to the heavenly Father than many sparrows. Continue at the throne of grace, expecting great things; the healing leaves from the tree of life are already rustling with mercy for your home. May the Lord command deliverance, grant quiet sleep, and restore a sound mind, for the sake of Him who is the Resurrection and the Life.
