We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your precious son to our Heavenly Father. We join you in prayer, standing on the promise that "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever" (Hebrews 13:8 WEB), and that His healing power is just as real and available today as it was when He walked this earth.
Father God, we ask for Your mighty hand of healing to rest upon this young man. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, he is healed (Isaiah 53:5 WEB), and we speak life and restoration to every part of his body, mind, and spirit. Lord, we specifically rebuke the spirit of psychosis in the name of Jesus. We command it to leave and never return, for it is written, "The name of Yahweh is a strong tower: the righteous run to him, and are safe" (Proverbs 18:10 WEB). We plead the blood of Jesus over his mind, declaring that he will think clearly, reason soundly, and be at peace.
We pray for peaceful, restorative sleep to envelop him. May he lie down and sleep in peace, for You alone, Lord, make him dwell in safety (Psalm 4:8 WEB). Surround him with Your angels, that no harm or evil may come near him. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17 WEB), and that he is covered under the shadow of Your wings (Psalm 91:4 WEB).
Father, we ask that You comfort him with Your presence. May he feel Your love and peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7 WEB). Remind him that he is never alone, for You have said, "I will never leave you, nor forsake you" (Hebrews 13:5 WEB). Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, guiding him into all truth and bringing to remembrance Your promises.
We also pray for wisdom and discernment for those caring for him, doctors, counselors, and family members. May they be led by Your Spirit in every decision and treatment plan. We ask that You provide the right people and resources to aid in his healing journey.
Lord, we know that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20 WEB). We trust in Your goodness and mercy, believing that You are working all things together for his good (Romans 8:28 WEB). Strengthen our faith as we wait on You, and help us to rest in the assurance that You hear our prayers and will answer according to Your perfect will.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue standing on God’s promises and speaking life over your son. Surround him with Scripture, worship music, and godly influences that will strengthen his spirit. Consider fasting and prayer as a family, seeking God’s face together. Remember, "The effective, earnest prayer of a righteous man avails much" (James 5:16 WEB). Keep trusting in the Lord, for He is faithful, and His mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23 WEB).
