Healing of knees, hip and legs

Vyimere

Disciple of Prayer
Please Pray for ###, my Fiance, who suffers with leg and hip pain due to an accident in which he had fallen on the ice. He had a rod installed and has difficulty walking.

We join with you in lifting up your fiance before the Lord and we ask for His healing touch upon his knees, hip and legs after this difficult fall on the ice and the surgery to place a rod. We know how discouraging it is to struggle to walk and to live with ongoing pain, and we bring this need to the One who is our healer.

We are encouraged to hear you speak of him as your fiance, for we believe in the sanctity of marriage as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman before God, and we rejoice when a courtship is moving toward holy marriage. We pray that your relationship is honoring God in all things as you prepare for marriage, and we gently remind you of what Scripture teaches, Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled: but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers. Hebrews 13:4 and Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. 1 Corinthians 6:18 If you are living together or engaging in intimacy before marriage, we urge you to repent and to pursue purity together until your wedding day, trusting that God blesses obedience and will establish your future marriage on a firm foundation.

We also noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to lovingly share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only through His name that we are saved and our prayers are heard. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 It is by putting our faith in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for our sins and rose again, that we are forgiven and brought near to God, and we encourage you both to trust fully in Him.

We take comfort in the promises of God for healing, for He says Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases. Psalm 103:2-3 and For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Jeremiah 30:17 and But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed. Isaiah 53:5 We know that our Lord is Yahweh who heals you. Exodus 15:26

We pray together for him now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear man to You. You see his pain, the injury to his hip and legs, the rod that was placed, and the difficulty he has in walking. We ask that You would lay Your healing hand upon him, reduce inflammation and pain, strengthen his bones and muscles, restore mobility to his knees and hip, and help his body to heal well around this hardware. Grant wisdom to his doctors and therapists, give him patience and hope in this recovery, and let his strength be renewed day by day. We pray that You would draw both of them closer to You and to each other in purity and in preparation for a Christ centered marriage that honors You all their days. Let Your peace guard their hearts as they trust in Your goodness. We ask all of this in the mighty and healing name of Jesus, amen.

We encourage you to continue to pray together, to seek godly counsel as you plan for marriage, and to trust the Lord with this healing journey, for Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. James 5:14-15 We stand with you in faith believing God is able and loving toward you both.

We are praying with you for ### and for you as you care about him so deeply. A fall on ice that leaves a rod in place and ongoing pain in the hip and legs changes daily life in so many ways, and watching someone you love struggle to walk is heavy to carry.

We know chronic pain can be discouraging in a particular way. Progress is often slow and uneven, and it is easy for the person in pain to feel fragile or defeated when healing does not come quickly. It can also be tiring for those who love them, as routines and hopes have to adjust. Please know we see both of you in this.

One steady help in a long recovery is staying closely connected to his medical team. If he has follow up care or physical therapy prescribed, continuing to walk with those providers and letting them know honestly how he is doing day to day can give you both clearer guidance. And as you support him, we encourage you to lean on trusted people around you as well so you are not carrying this alone.

Father, we lift ### to You and ask for Your mercy and care over his body. Ease his pain in his hip, knees and legs, give wisdom to those treating him, and give him strength and patience in each step. Comfort and sustain his fiance as she loves and supports him. We ask this in Jesus' name, trusting Your good will for them.

I appreciate and thank you for Praying for my ###. I know Jesus Will Heal him as we both have strong Faith in Him. Amen.

We have brought your request before the Lord and we join you in asking Him to look with mercy upon your fiance in his pain and difficulty in walking after his fall and the surgery that followed.

We very speedily care for bodily diseases for they are painful and soon urge us to seek a physician, but we have a heavenly Physician whose least things are full of healing virtue. Scripture says the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and we are taught that the very leaves, the little things about Christ, are healing. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Calvary is the place for the healing balm, and the Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, and pardon and healing were one. So we are encouraged to tell the case to Jesus just as we would mention a physical case to a doctor, for He is ready to hear it all and to consider it. He does not come as an army surgeon who hurries along, but He comes gently and sympathizingly, and there is healing in His touch when by faith contact is established with Him.

We pray that the Lord who alone saves through Jesus Christ will grant both of you His pardon and His peace, and that trusting in Christ alone you may know sins forgiven and hearts made whole. We ask the Lord to lay His healing hand upon knees and hip and legs, to ease pain, to strengthen bone and muscle around the rod that was installed, to restore steadiness in walking, to guide the hands of those who give medical care, and to give patience and hope in the days of recovery. We pray that whatever healing He grants now may be a token of that perfect healing He will give to His people when body and soul are made whole without spot or wrinkle.

In this season of engagement we encourage you to honor the Lord by holding fast His good design for marriage as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, reserving living together and the intimacy that belongs to marriage for within that covenant itself. May your courtship be kept pure and your steps be ordered toward a holy union that seeks first the glory of Christ.

May the Lord hear and answer according to His abundant mercy, and may He make you both to prove that His fruit is sweet and nourishing and His leaves are for healing. We commend your fiance to that great conduit Head from which abundant streams of healing flow down to men below, asking that Christ Himself would be near to comfort, to sustain, and to heal as seems best to His infinite wisdom and love. Amen.

Lord, touch this fiancé's leg and hip. Ease his pain, strengthen his walk, and bring full healing. In Jesus' name, Amen.

- *Psalm 103:2-3* — "Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits—who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases."
- *Isaiah 53:5* — "By his wounds we are healed."
