Let's stand together in prayer and support for the healing of your husband and the restoration of your family's peace and joy. We believe that it is indeed God's will to heal and deliver, as stated in 3 John 1:2, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers."
Firstly, we acknowledge the power of Jesus' name, as it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved." It is through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we pray for your husband's healing.
We rebuke the spirits of anger, depression, and suicide that have been tormenting your husband. As it is written in James 4:7, "Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We command these spirits to leave in Jesus' name, and we pray for the Holy Spirit to fill your husband with peace, joy, and a sound mind.
We also pray for his physical healing. As it is written in Matthew 8:17, "that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through Isaiah the prophet, saying: 'He took our infirmities, and bore our diseases.'" We claim this promise for your husband and ask God to manifest His healing power in his life.
We encourage you both to seek God together in His word and in prayer, and to fellowship with other believers. As it is written in Hebrews 10:25, "not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as you see the Day approaching." Attending church together will strengthen your faith and your marriage.
We advise you to limit exposure to news that may be causing distress. As it is written in Philippians 4:8, "Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things."
Lastly, we pray for you to have patience, strength, and wisdom to support your husband and be a better person in all ways. As it is written in Galatians 5:22-23, "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law."
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, asking for Your divine intervention in this situation. We pray for Your healing touch upon this dear sister's husband, that You would restore his body, mind, and spirit. Give them both strength and courage to face each day with hope and trust in You. Help them to fix their eyes on You and not on their circumstances. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
