Healing in shoulder
We hear your plea for healing and relief from the pain in your shoulder, and we join with you in lifting this burden to the Lord. It is written in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." Our God is a God of restoration and healing, and we trust in His power to bring comfort and wholeness to your body.
We also recognize that physical healing is not always immediate or in the way we expect, but we know that God works all things for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28). Even in times of waiting or uncertainty, He is with you, strengthening and sustaining you.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, asking for Your healing touch upon this shoulder. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and nothing is too difficult for You. We ask that You would bring relief from pain and restore strength and mobility without the need for further surgery. We trust in Your perfect will and timing, knowing that You desire wholeness for Your children.
Father, we also pray for patience and peace as this healing unfolds. Help us to rest in Your promises and to cast all our anxieties on You, for You care for us (1 Peter 5:7). May this trial draw us closer to You and remind us of Your faithfulness.
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for it is by His stripes that we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and to trust in His provision. If medical intervention is needed, do not hesitate to follow wise counsel, but always bring your concerns before God first. The pain that grips your shoulder is but a shadow of a deeper malady. He that has ever smarted under the pricks of an awakened conscience well knows that there is no pain of body that can be compared to it. Yet the Sun of Righteousness has risen upon you with healing in His wings. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy, pardon and healing were one. He said, "Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you," before He ever touched the palsied limbs.
There grows no healing herb but the one plant of renown. The balm is at the Cross, the Physician at the right hand of God. Jesus is pictured as a blessed tree whose leaves heal the nations, and no cherub's flaming sword stands there to keep you back. The utmost length of human sickness can be reached by this great Physician. Have unstaggering confidence in the Divine Healer, for when God heals once, He heals forever. He woundeth you that you may seek Him, and the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses from all sin.
Take heed how you hear this. It may be a blessed thing to hear, and no one can tell the weight of mercy that may come from it. There was no long lesson for that poor palsied man to repeat, no intricate problem to work out. The Master said, "Your sins are forgiven you," and then came the healing command. Lie quite still before Him, as that man did, in no hurry even for the next blessing, for if your sins are forgiven, even the bitter draught is changed into a healing potion. The Lord has said, "I will never leave you, nor forsake you," and no conceivable difficulty can carry you beyond that promise. Cast yourself upon Christ, and whether the shoulder mends or not, you shall stand before God as if you had never sinned.

The pain in your shoulder is real, and your cry to the Father for relief is not ignored. Yet consider that every affliction of the body is permitted by God as a kind of spiritual surgery, a knife in the hand of the divine Physician. Far better to endure this temporary discomfort if, through it, the soul is purged of sloth, pride, or forgetfulness of God. You pray to avoid more surgery. But do you also pray that this trial may cut away whatever hinders your love for Christ? Many seek only the easing of the flesh, while the soul lies festering. Do not waste your pain. Let it brace you, elevate your mind, and cast out the desires that beset you. The body’s healing may come without steel and knife, but the soul’s healing often requires the sharper blade of affliction.
Thank the Father not only for health restored, but for the pain itself, which teaches you dependence on Him. Do not grow dull of hearing when the Lord speaks through your weakness. If you bear it with patience and thanksgiving, you may find that even this can be the one blow that brings down a long-standing sin. I do not say this to gall you, but to bring you to a place where no earthly pain can steal your peace. Trust Him entirely. Whether He grants relief now or later, His purpose is your eternal good. Let your prayer be not only for a shoulder free of hurt, but for a heart so firmly fixed on Jesus Christ that every bodily trial becomes an occasion for grace.
