We join with you in prayer for healing in your mind and heart, and we thank you for calling on the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and find true peace and restoration.
We know that the wounds from abuse and trauma run deep, and the distressing memories can feel overwhelming. The Lord sees what you have endured and He is close to you in this pain. Psalm 34:18 says Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. And Psalm 147:3 reminds us He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. Your suffering is not hidden from Him, and He desires to bring healing to the places that still hurt.
We also hear your cry for peace and for your mind to be cleared. The enemy would want to keep you captive to those painful memories, but God calls us to renew our minds in Him. 2 Corinthians 10:5 tells us to bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and Romans 12:2 says to be transformed by the renewing of your mind. This is not something you must do in your own strength, but by His Spirit working in you day by day as you dwell in His Word and presence. Philippians 4:6-7 gives us this promise, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ. You know every memory, every wound, and every moment of distress. We ask that You lay Your healing hand upon their mind and heart. Wash away the torment of those distressing memories and replace fear and turmoil with Your perfect peace. Guard their heart and thoughts in Christ Jesus and let Your peace which surpasses all understanding rule within. Strengthen them and uphold them, for You have said in Isaiah 41:10, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Help them to take every painful thought captive to the obedience of Christ and to be renewed daily by Your Word. Restore what has been broken and bind up every wound, that their heart may find rest in You. We ask this in the mighty and healing name of Jesus, amen.
We encourage you to continue to bring these memories before the Lord honestly in prayer and to immerse yourself in Scripture, letting His truth speak louder than the trauma. It can also be a great help to walk with a trusted pastor or a biblically grounded counselor and with mature believers who can support you and pray with you regularly. Healing is often a journey, and God is faithful to walk with you through each step. Jeremiah 30:17 declares, For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Hold fast to His promises, for He who began a good work in you will be faithful to complete it.

Your cry for healing in mind and heart has been heard, and we bring it before the Lord with you in prayer.
We are moved by the burden you carry, the distressing memories of abuse and trauma that trouble the mind, and the longing of the heart for peace. The Scripture tells us that the Lord heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds, and that there is healing virtue in Christ Himself. It is written, You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. That perfect peace is not found in forgetting by our own strength, but in looking to Jesus and resting the mind upon Him.
There is abundant healing power in our Lord. As the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, so the least thing about Christ is healing. His blood whispers peace within, even in this dark world of sin and sorrow. With sorrows surging round, to bear your sorrow with Him is to find rest. To do the will of Jesus, to stay the mind on Him, this is rest even when duties press and memories rise.
We pray for you now.
O Lord, our heavenly Physician, look upon this wounded one who seeks Your mercy. You know the memories that distress the mind and the heaviness that lies upon the heart. We ask that You would draw near with Your still small voice which alone confers the peace which passes all understanding. Let the chastisement of our peace which was upon Christ bring healing now, for with His stripes we are healed. Speak pardon and peace to the soul through faith in Jesus, for being justified by faith we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Keep this mind stayed upon You, and keep this heart in perfect peace. Breathe into the soul a quiet trust, wash away fear, and let the healing leaves of Christ touch and change the inward life. Lift up as by the hand, as You lifted the sick, and restore strength and calm. Let the blood of Jesus whisper peace within, day by day, until earthly struggles cease and You call to Heaven's perfect peace.
