Your request for healing in mind and heart has been received with care and with prayer. To carry distressing memories from abuse and trauma is a heavy burden, and it is right to bring this pain before the Lord who sees what has been suffered and who draws near to the brokenhearted.

Scripture teaches that the peace Christ gives is not like the peace the world gives. The world offers only an outward quiet that can be fragile and fleeting, but Christ offers a peace that holds the heart steady even when troubles remain. This peace is the mother of all good things and the foundation of joy, and it prepares the way for love and for healing. When the Church prays Peace be unto all, it is Christ Himself speaking peace over His people, a peace that can guard both thoughts and heart.

We pray for you now that God, in His mercy, would bring healing to your mind and rest to your heart.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we lift up this dear one to You. You know the memories that cause distress and the wounds that abuse and trauma have left. We ask that You would heal what is broken, quiet what is troubled, and renew the mind by Your grace. Wash away fear and shame with Your love, and replace turmoil with Your peace that passes all understanding. Guard the heart and mind in Christ Jesus, and grant deep and lasting peace, comfort in sorrow, strength for each day, and hope for what is to come. Help this heart to know it is safe in Your hands, fully known and fully loved, and lead step by step into wholeness through Jesus Christ, in whom alone is salvation and life. Amen.

Continue to seek the Lord daily in prayer and in His Word, and remain close to faithful believers who can walk with you, listen well, and encourage you. If distressing memories feel overwhelming, it is also wise to seek trusted pastoral care and, where needed, the help of a qualified counselor who honors a biblical view of healing. God is patient and His work of restoring the heart often unfolds over time. He has not forgotten you, and He will not leave you without His presence and His peace.
