We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear one who is carrying the weight of painful memories and deep trauma. The scars of abuse are not easily healed, but we know that our God is the Great Physician, the One who binds up the brokenhearted and sets the captives free. We stand in agreement with this request, believing that the Lord can bring clarity to the mind and peace to the heart that only He can provide.
The Word of God tells us in Psalm 34:18, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* And in Isaiah 61:1, *"The Lord Yahweh’s Spirit is on me, because Yahweh has anointed me to preach good news to the humble. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and release to those who are bound."* These verses remind us that God sees your pain, and He is not distant from it. He draws near to you, and He longs to bring healing and freedom.
We also recognize that the enemy seeks to keep those who have suffered in bondage to fear, shame, and torment. But we rebuke those lies in the name of Jesus! The accuser has no place in your life, and we command every spirit of trauma, fear, and oppression to flee now. Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil, and we declare that His victory is yours. As it is written in 1 John 3:8, *"He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. To this end the Son of God was revealed: that he might destroy the works of the devil."*
We pray that the Lord would bring His healing balm to your mind and heart. May He replace the distressing memories with His truth, His love, and His peace. May you experience the comfort of the Holy Spirit, who is our Comforter and Helper. We ask that God would give you wisdom and discernment to process these memories in a way that leads to true healing, not just temporary relief. We pray for godly counselors, mentors, or trusted believers who can walk alongside you in this journey.
Father God, we ask You to flood this precious one’s mind with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus, as Philippians 4:7 promises. Bring to remembrance Your promises of hope and restoration. Let them know that You are making all things new, even the broken places. We declare that the power of those traumatic memories is broken in the name of Jesus, and we speak life, healing, and wholeness over their mind and heart.
Lord, we also pray for strength and courage to face each day. Help them to cast their cares upon You, for You care for them deeply (1 Peter 5:7). Surround them with Your love and let them feel Your presence in tangible ways. May they come to know You not just as a distant God, but as a loving Father who heals, restores, and redeems.
We thank You, Lord, that You are faithful and that Your mercies are new every morning. We trust You to complete the good work You have begun in this life. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
