We join you in lifting up your son before the throne of grace, trusting in the healing power of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible assures us in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We stand on this promise, believing that God is able to bring complete restoration to your son’s lungs and immune system.
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking for Your divine touch upon this precious life. We pray for the complete healing of COPD and asthma, that every damaged tissue would be restored, every inflamed airway soothed, and every infection cleansed. Lord, we rebuke the spirit of infirmity in Jesus’ name and command the lungs to function as You designed them. Strengthen his immune system, Lord, so that his body may resist illness and viruses according to Your perfect will.
We also pray for peace and comfort for both you and your son during this time. May you both feel the presence of the Holy Spirit, who is our Comforter and Healer. Isaiah 41:10 reminds us, "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."
Let us also remember that our ultimate healing—spiritual, emotional, and physical—comes through Jesus Christ. If there are areas in your son’s life where he has not fully surrendered to the Lordship of Jesus, we pray that he would come to know Him as Savior and Healer. Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
We declare Psalm 103:2-3 over your son: "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." We believe in Your power to heal, Lord, and we thank You in advance for the testimony of Your goodness that will follow. May your son’s healing bring glory to Your name and draw others closer to You.
In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
