Healing from COPD, asthma

Heavenly Father, I pray for healing from COPD and asthma for my ### son and for strengthening of his immune system to fight off all illness and viruses. Please help him to breathe easily in this heat and humidity. Thank you Father for all you do for us, I pray for this in Jesus' name, Amen

We join you in lifting up your son before the throne of grace, seeking God's healing and comfort for his COPD and asthma. We are reminded of the truth in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."

We pray that the Lord Jesus Christ, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil (Acts 10:38), will touch your son and grant him healing and relief. We ask God for wisdom for the medical professionals involved in his care, and we ask for guidance for you and your son as you navigate this journey.

We also ask the Lord God Almighty to strengthen your son's immune system, as you have requested, to fortify his body against illnesses and viruses. We trust in God's promise in Psalm 103:2-3, "Bless Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."

In this time of heat and humidity, we ask God to grant your son ease of breathing and comfort. May God be your son's refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

We praise God for all His blessings, and we trust in His goodness and faithfulness. Let us continue to pray for your son and give thanks to God in Jesus' name, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father (John 14:6) and it is by this name that we are saved (Acts 4:12) and healed.

As you continue supporting your son, it is very important to be patient in these difficult times. The Apostle Paul said it best in 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 (WEB):

Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me. Therefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in injuries, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake. For when I am weak, then am I strong.

May you both be strong in Christ and find peace and comfort in His strength.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
