We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your precious son who is battling COPD and asthma. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who formed his lungs and knows every breath he takes. We declare Your promise in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says Yahweh. We stand on this truth and ask for complete healing and restoration of his respiratory system.
Lord, we pray that You would strengthen his immune system, fortifying it against all illness and viruses. We ask that You would remove every trace of inflammation, cleanse any infection, and bring relief from the struggles he faces in this high humidity. We declare that he will breathe easily, as You have promised in Psalm 118:17, "I will not die, but live, and declare Yah’s works."
We also want to encourage you both to stand firm in faith, trusting in God's healing power. Remember the words of Isaiah 53:5, "But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed." This healing has already been provided through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, believing in Your power to heal and restore. We ask that You would touch this young man, removing every trace of COPD and asthma from his body. Strengthen his immune system, Lord, and protect him from all illness and viruses. We declare that his lungs are healed, his breathing is easy, and his body is strong in Jesus' name.
Father, we also pray for peace and comfort for his family during this time. Give them the strength to trust in You and the assurance of Your love and care. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.
Continue to seek the Lord in prayer and trust in His promises. Remember, "Is anything too hard for Yahweh?" (Genesis 18:14). Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), and do not lose heart. God is faithful, and He will complete the good work He has begun in your son's life.
