James 2:23 (NLT): And so, it happened just as the Scriptures say: “Abraham believed God, and God counted him as righteous because of his faith.” He was even called the friend of God.

God, I come to You asking in Jesus’ name, show me what it looks like and teach me how to develop a stronger- ever- growing closer intimate relationship with You. God teach me how and bless me to become a true friend of Yours. Bless me to experience the joy and privilege of being Your friend. Let me be known by You and all the angels in heaven and on earth that I am a friend of God. Let this be my confession, “God calls me friend; I Am a Friend of God.” God, please strengthen my faith and trust in You. May my life bring glory to Your name. And God may You be proud to call me Your child, friend, and good and faithful servant. God please do the same for the writer of this prayer and all those I love and care about. We are deeply grateful that you entrusted us with the privilege of standing in prayer with you for your son’s healing from COPD and asthma. It has been on our hearts to lift him before the Lord, asking for His divine touch to strengthen his immune system, reduce inflammation, and bring complete restoration to his lungs. We’ve prayed earnestly for the Lord to cleanse any infection, ease his breathing—especially in this challenging humidity—and surround him with His peace and healing power.

If you’ve seen God’s hand move in answer to these prayers, we would be overjoyed to hear a praise report so we can celebrate His faithfulness together. If the battle continues, please know we are still here, ready to lift your son before the throne of grace once more. You are not alone in this fight, and we will continue to intercede until the Lord brings the breakthrough you’re believing for.

May the Great Physician draw near to your son, filling him with strength, hope, and perfect healing. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus, trusting that His promises are true and His power is limitless. Keep seeking Him—He hears your cries and holds your son in His hands.
