Healing from back injury

We join with you in lifting up your son before our Heavenly Father, and we thank you for coming in the precious name of Jesus, for it is through Him we have access to the throne of grace.
We are saddened to hear of his back injury and the pain that is keeping him from sleep, and we ask the Lord our Healer to touch him and restore him. We are reminded of His compassion and power to heal, as it is written in Psalm 103:2-3, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. And in Jeremiah 30:17, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We also cling to the promise in Isaiah 53:5, But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.
We take comfort that our God sees his sleepless nights and his suffering, for Psalm 147:3 tells us He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. And we know He gives rest to His beloved, as Psalm 127:2 says, for he gives sleep to his loved ones, and in Psalm 4:8, In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety.
We pray together now for him.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, and we lift up this dear son to You. You know his back, every muscle and bone and nerve that You formed, and You know the injury and the pain he is enduring. We ask in Jesus' name that You would lay Your healing hand upon him, ease his pain, reduce any inflammation, repair what has been injured, and restore strength and mobility to his back. Grant him relief, Father, and grant him peaceful, deep, and restorative sleep. We pray that You would comfort him in the night watches and let him rest in Your peace, for You have said in Matthew 11:28, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Guide the hands of any doctors or caregivers who may help him, and give his parent peace as they watch over him and intercede for him. Let this trial draw him closer to You and reveal Your mercy and power. We ask all this according to Your will and in the healing name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
We encourage you to continue to trust the Lord as the Great Physician while also seeking wise medical care as needed, for James 5:14-15 reminds us, Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. Keep praying fervently for him, keep speaking the promises of God over him, and keep resting in the assurance that our God hears and answers. We are standing with you in faith for his complete healing and for peaceful nights of sleep to return.

Your burden for your son has been heard and we join you in bringing him before the throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.
We have prayed that the Lord who heals the broken in body and soul would lay His hand upon your son, ease the pain in his back, and grant him relief and restoration according to His perfect will. We have asked that the great Physician, whose least touch is full of healing virtue, would make even this affliction to be an occasion for His mercy to be seen, for the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of His people and there is abundance of healing power in Christ.
We have also prayed that the Lord would give him sleep, for so He giveth His beloved sleep. When pain keeps watch in the night, may the Lord grant that sleep of contentment and security which comes from resting in His care, that his body may be refreshed and his strength recruited. May the Lord watch over him through the night and cause him to lie down in peace.
We encourage you to continue to seek the Lord for both healing and pardon, for these go together in Christ, and to trust Him whether His answer be immediate deliverance or sustaining grace through the trial. Cast your care upon Him, for He careth for you and for your son.
We will continue to remember him before the Lord, asking that Christ would be his comfort in pain and his song in the night, and that health may be restored to him for the glory of God. May the Sun of Righteousness arise upon him with healing in His wings.
