Healing from back injury

We join you in lifting up your son before our heavenly Father and we thank you for bringing this need to us in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace. We are thankful you closed your request in Jesus' name, for Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12
We are moved with compassion for your son in his pain and sleeplessness, and we know our God sees his suffering and hears our prayers. We are reminded that He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. Psalm 147:3 and Bless Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. Psalm 103:2-3 Our Lord is still Yahweh who heals you. Exodus 15:26 and His promise remains, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Jeremiah 30:17

Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus and we lift up this dear son to You. You know his back injury, You see every source of pain, every inflamed muscle and nerve, every moment he lies awake longing for rest. We ask in faith that You would lay Your healing hand upon him, ease his pain, restore what has been injured, and grant him relief. We ask that You would give him peaceful and restorative sleep, for You give sleep to Your beloved. Psalm 127:2 and In peace we pray he will both lay himself down and sleep, for You, Yahweh alone, make him live in safety. Psalm 4:8 We pray You would guide any doctors or treatment before him and give wisdom for his care, and that You would comfort his heart and his family with Your peace as they wait upon You. We ask that through this trial he would feel Your nearness and know that You are his strength, for You have said, Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10 We pray all of this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
We encourage you to continue to bring him before the Lord daily, trusting that the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. James 5:15 While we trust the Lord as our healer, we also encourage you to continue to seek wise medical care as the Lord often works through those means. We also hold fast to the invitation of Jesus, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28 May the Lord grant your son relief from pain, deep sleep at night, and complete healing in His perfect time and will. We stand with you in prayer and trust.

Your prayer for your son in his suffering has been heard and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace.
We sorrow to hear of his back injury and the pain which robs him of sleep, for the wounds of the body are extremely painful and they soon urge us to seek the Physician. Man is a double being, composed of body and soul, and our Lord Jesus is able to heal both. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation, and the Scripture saith, the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the least thing about Christ is healing, and those healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before.
We are reminded also that so He giveth His beloved sleep. It is a sleep of contentment and of security which the Lord giveth to His beloved, a refreshing after toil to fit us for fresh exercise of our faculties when we awake. To be denied sleep by pain is a sore trial, and we pray that the Lord who watched over His weary ones in the garden would now bend over your son and set his spirit and body at rest.
Let us pray together.
O Lord our God, Father of mercies, we bring this son before Thee. Thou knowest his frame and his pain, for Thou hast made him. Look upon him in compassion and lay Thy healing hand upon his back. Ease his pain, restore what is injured, and grant him the precious gift of sleep, for Thou givest sleep to Thy beloved. We ask that if it be Thy will, Thou wouldst raise him up to health and strength again, using also the means Thou hast provided through the skill of physicians, but above all by Thine own power.
We pray also for his soul, that in this affliction he may know that healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction in Christ. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, thy sins are forgiven thee, and pardon and healing were one. Grant to this dear one faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, through whom alone is salvation, and let him find not only ease for the body but peace for the soul.
Sustain his parents who watch and intercede for him. Keep them from anxious care and give them confidence in Thy fatherly goodness, that whether waking or sleeping they may rest in Jesus.

We pray for him now, that God in His mercy would touch his back and bring healing, relieve his pain, and grant him restful sleep. We ask the Father to comfort him in his suffering, to give wisdom to those caring for him, and to strengthen your faith and his as you wait upon the Lord.
Heavenly Father, we lift up this son to You. You know his pain and his sleepless nights. You are the Lord who heals and who sustains us.
