Healing from back injury

Please pray for healing for my son from a back injury causing him pain and inability to sleep, thank you kindly.. in Jesus' name, Amen

We join with you in lifting up your son before our Heavenly Father and we thank you for asking in the precious name of Jesus, for it is through Him alone that we have access to the throne of grace.

We know how distressing it is to see a child in pain and unable to find rest through sleep, and our hearts ache with you. We take comfort that our God is both our Healer and our refuge in suffering.

Scripture reminds us of His healing power and compassion, who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:3, and But I will restore health to you and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. We also cling to the promise that by his wounds we are healed Isaiah 53:5 and that He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3. When pain steals sleep, we remember the invitation of our Lord, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest Matthew 11:28.

We pray together now for your son.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before You and lift up this beloved son to You. You see his back injury, You know the pain he endures and the sleepless nights he faces. We ask for Your healing hand to touch his body, to mend what is injured, to reduce inflammation and pain, and to restore strength and mobility according to Your will. Grant him peaceful and restorative sleep, ease his discomfort, and surround him with Your peace that surpasses understanding. Guide the hands of any doctors or caregivers involved and give wisdom for proper treatment and recovery. We also pray for his parent who intercedes for him, that You would grant comfort, strength, and unwavering faith while waiting on Your healing. We ask that through this trial Your name would be glorified and his faith and the faith of his family would be strengthened. We pray this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to continue to trust in the Lord's goodness and to seek wise medical care as the Lord often works through those means, while also continuing steadfast in prayer, for the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up James 5:15. Keep casting your cares upon Him, for He cares for you, and we will continue to stand with you in prayer for complete healing and rest.

We've been thinking of you and your son since reading your note. Watching someone you love hurt and not be able to rest is so hard, especially as a parent when you wish you could take the pain away for him. Thank you for letting us stand with you in prayer.

Being in pain and unable to sleep wears a person down quickly, body and spirit, and it wears on those who love him too. It's understandable this is weighing on you, and we are asking God to bring comfort to him in these long nights and wisdom for each next step.

Alongside prayer, if his pain and trouble sleeping continue, we gently encourage staying in touch with his medical provider so they know how he is doing and can advise on care. You don't have to carry the worry alone. We will continue to remember you both before the Lord in the days ahead and trust Him to meet you in this hard season.

Father, we bring this son before You and ask for Your mercy and care over him. Ease his pain, grant him restful sleep when he lies down, and give him and his family peace as they wait on You. Guide those caring for him and draw them all close to Your presence. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Your request for your son has been brought before the Lord and we join you in prayer for him in the name of Jesus Christ, our great Physician.

We are moved by your love as a parent and by the pain your son endures, both the hurt of his back and the weariness that comes when sleep is withheld. The Lord knows the frame He has made, and He is tender toward those who suffer in body. As the Scripture says, He healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds, and there is abundant healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation.

We are reminded that the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and that even the least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and when He draws near, pardon and healing are found together in His gracious hand. Our hope is not in our own strength, but in Him who took our infirmities and who is able to restore and to give rest.

Let us pray together.

O Lord our God, Father of mercies, look in compassion upon this son who suffers from injury to his back. Thou seest his pain by day and his restlessness by night. Lay Thy healing hand upon him, ease his pain, and grant him refreshing sleep. Give wisdom to those who care for him, and use such means as Thou hast provided for his recovery, for all healing floweth from Thee. Above all, let him and his family know the deeper healing of soul which cometh through faith in Jesus Christ, in whom we have forgiveness of sins and peace with God. Comfort his heart, sustain his parents in prayer, and let this trial draw them nearer to Christ, who is our life and health.

We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who liveth and reigneth and who is able to save and to heal. Amen.
