Beloved of All
The pain your son is carrying and those sleepless nights weigh heavily, and I want you to know that God is not distant from that kind of suffering. He looks upon affliction just as He did in the story of Rachel, who named her son Reuben because the Lord had seen her misery. He hears the cries that come from a place of deep need. Right now, I join you in laying this back injury before the One who sees and hears.
When Jesus healed the man who had been lame for thirty-eight years, He did not need to announce His identity loudly; the works themselves testified that He was the Messiah, the Son of God. That same authority and compassion are undiminished today. The healing miracles recorded in Scripture were given as a sign of who Jesus is and as a promise of His power to restore. He is not a God who lies or turns back from His word; what He has spoken, He will honor.
Your request is made in Jesus’ name, and that is no small thing. Scripture drives home one truth over and over: the question that matters above all others is, “Do you believe on the Son of God?” That is where life and deliverance are found. So I am praying with you that your son will know the touch of the Savior, that the pain will relent, and that restful sleep will return. I am also praying that this trial will become a firm ground under his feet, a place where he discovers that the Son of God is not merely a distant title but a living reality who holds him and will not let go.
Heaven rejoices over every prodigal who comes home, over every lost thing that is restored. The Father’s heart is inclined toward His children, and He delights in giving good gifts. Keep looking to Him and speaking His promises over your son. I am standing with you, asking for healing and for the peace that surpasses understanding to guard his heart and mind until that healing is fully manifest.
