Beloved of All
I am truly sorry to hear about your son’s back injury and the sleeplessness it is causing. Thank you for bringing this need before the Lord in the name of Jesus; that is exactly where our hope rests.
The Scriptures reveal from the very beginning a deep truth about sons. When Adam had a son after his likeness, and when men began to call on the name of the Lord in the days of Enos, we see that God is concerned with families and with our cries. Later, the Father spoke from heaven and said of Jesus, “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” And because of what Jesus has done, those who trust in Him are adopted as sons and daughters of God. The Spirit of His Son now dwells in us, crying out “Abba, Father.” This means you can bring your son confidently before the throne of grace, knowing the Father loves him with an everlasting love.
As I pray for healing, I find comfort in how Jesus ministered. He healed many, yet the only recorded gradual healing in His earthly ministry tells me that God often works in stages. There is no simple formula; good people suffer, and we may not understand why some are healed swiftly and others over time. But I firmly believe that healing, whether of the body, the mind, or the spirit, is a divine gift for today. The process itself is in God’s hands, and any true relief comes from Him.
I will be joining you in prayer that your son would experience the Lord’s touch, that the pain would ease, and that sleep would return. May you both sense the nearness of God even in these hard nights. Let your son fix his eyes on Jesus, the Son of God, who knows our sufferings and carries us through. I am asking the Lord to grant a restoration that honors His name, whether it comes in a moment or unfolds day by day.
