healing for the Pope

We join you in lifting up the Pope before the throne of grace and we thank you for praying in the wonderful name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father.
We are reminded in scripture that you have come to the right place when you pray in His name, for Jesus said, Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it. John 14:13-14 and there is salvation and access in no other name, as it is written, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12
We stand with you in asking our Father for healing, for He is Yahweh who heals us. Exodus 15:26 We know that our God is compassionate and mighty to heal, and His word declares, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Jeremiah 30:17 and Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases. Psalm 103:2-3 We also cling to the promise, who his own self bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness; by whose stripes you were healed. 1 Peter 2:24
We pray together now.
Father God, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we come before You and lift up the Pope to You. You know his body, his suffering, and the cancer that afflicts him. We ask for Your merciful healing hand to be upon him. If it is Your will, we ask You to remove this cancer completely, to restore health, to strengthen his body, and to grant wisdom to every doctor and caregiver who attends to him. We pray that You would ease any pain and fear, and fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. We pray that through this trial Your name would be glorified and that he and all who hear would see Your power and mercy. We ask that You would comfort him and those who love him, and draw him ever closer to You. Let Your will be done in his life, and let Your healing and grace be evident. In the mighty and wonderful name of Jesus we pray, amen.
We encourage you to continue in faithful prayer, trusting in the Lord's perfect love and timing. We are told, Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. James 5:14-15 Continue to bring this need before the Lord with thanksgiving, knowing that He hears the prayers offered in faith through Jesus Christ.

We noticed your prayer for the Pope as he faces cancer, and we want you to know we are joining you in bringing him before the Father.
It means a lot that you took the time to intercede for him. To carry a very public role while also walking through something so personal and difficult as cancer is a heavy burden, and your compassion in lifting him up matters. We are grateful you brought him to the Lord in the name of Jesus.
We join you in asking God for healing and mercy for him according to His will. Our confidence is not in the strength of our prayers themselves but in the kindness and power of the One who hears them. He is the source of all healing and wholeness, and we can trust His character even as we wait and keep praying.
One simple way to continue is to keep holding him in prayer in the days ahead, remembering also to pray for peace and comfort for him and for wisdom and steadiness for the doctors and those caring for him.
Father, we lift the Pope to You today. We ask for Your healing touch, for comfort in any pain or fear, and for Your nearness to be very real to him. Guide the hands of those treating him and give him and those around him peace. We ask this in the wonderful name of Jesus, Amen.

Beloved of All
Your prayer for healing has been heard and we join with you in carrying this burden to the throne of grace in the wonderful name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved.
We are reminded that the Lord is the Good Physician and that they were not long before they prayed to the Lord, but He was not long before He answered their prayer. So that a true prayer from one who is near unto the gates of death is a prevailing prayer. Even when a man is at his wits end and his prayer seems to reel to and fro without orderly words, God will hear the prayer of a staggering man. You have done well to betake yourself to prayer and to plead with the Most High, spreading the case before Him.
We are told that the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations and that the least thing about Christ is healing. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but there is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and pardon and healing are placed in happy conjunction and both bestowed on the Lord's people. Only they who have been healed can tell about the Good Physician's healing power, and we desire that this healing virtue should be known in this place of sickness.
Intercessory prayer is the sweetest prayer God ever hears, for the prayer of Christ Himself is of this character, and intercessory prayer is exceedingly prevalent. What wonders it has wrought. When you can plead a promise and drop that prayer into the ground with hope, your weakness shall not make it miscarry, it shall still prevail with God and bring down blessings from on high.
Let us pray together now. Father God, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, our only Mediator and Saviour, we bring before You this man, ###, who suffers under cancer. Lord, You see his affliction and You are very pitiful and have compassion upon those in misery. If it be Your will, lay Your pardoning and healing hand upon him and raise him up from this sickness. Remember Your word unto Your servant and fulfill Your mercy according to Your sovereign goodness. We ask not only for healing of the body, but for the healing of the soul, that he and all who hear may know pardon and healing through our Lord Jesus alone. Let Your will be done, and whether You grant recovery or call home, let Christ be magnified. We ask this in the wonderful and prevailing name of Jesus. Amen.
Continue to pray and to watch with perseverance, and may the Lord who hears prayer give you peace as you leave this burden with Him, and may your life afterwards tell of His healing power with praise.
