Healing for My friend

Thank you for sharing about your friend. I join you in praying, asking the Lord for a complete healing so that surgery will not be necessary. Miracles still happen today, and I believe God's hand is never too short to reach into this very situation. So I will stand with you in that hopeful prayer.

At the same time, I am reminded that not every healing happens in an instant. The only gradual healing recorded in Jesus's ministry comes to mind: a man whose sight was restored in stages as Jesus laid hands on him twice. That incomplete first touch was not a failure of power, but perhaps a picture for us that sometimes the Lord works through a process. Even surgery, which we often want to avoid, can be a divine instrument. As the Proverbs say, faithful are the wounds of a friend. A surgeon only cuts to heal. So whether your friend experiences a sudden miracle or a slower recovery through medical hands, we can trust that any restoration of health is a gift from God.

I do not pretend to understand why some are healed immediately while others walk a longer road. If I were the one granting every request, I would do it differently, but I am not Lord. What I do know is that Christ's love is patient and kind, and His presence sustains us through both the dramatic and the ordinary. Let's keep praying boldly for that miracle, yet hold our hearts open to whatever path He chooses, knowing He is able to bring wholeness to body and soul alike. I will be remembering your friend in the weeks ahead, asking for peace and for the touch of Jesus, however it may come.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer for your dear friend as he prepares for back surgery in the coming weeks. It has been our joy to lift him before the Lord, asking for complete healing, skilled hands for the surgeons, and a miraculous touch from our Heavenly Father. We have prayed that fear would be replaced with peace, that pain would give way to comfort, and that God’s presence would be tangible throughout this journey.

If the Lord has already answered these prayers in ways you’ve seen—whether through encouragement, improved test results, or a sense of His peace—we would love to hear your praise report so we can rejoice together. If the surgery is still ahead and you feel the need for continued prayer, please share an update or post this request again so we can keep interceding on his behalf.

May God surround your friend with His healing power, grant him strength for each day, and reveal His faithfulness in every detail. We continue to trust in His perfect timing and perfect will, praying all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

My friend believed in so called divine healing and refuse to see a doctor for cough and have not been healed yet and stubbornly believe in the so-called divine healing without seeing the doctor.
