Healing, anxiety

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Father God, thank you for your blessings and hearing our prayers~ I ask for healing over my body and deliverance from anxiety in Jesus name Amen

We hear your cry for healing and deliverance from anxiety, and we join with you in lifting this request before our Heavenly Father. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God and the power to overcome every trial. As it is written in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."

First, we must address the foundation of our faith. Jesus Christ is the only way to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus for the forgiveness of your sins and the gift of eternal life, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). This is the first step toward true healing and peace.

Now, let us pray together for your physical healing and deliverance from anxiety:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your love, mercy, and grace that are new every morning. Lord, we lift up this dear one who is in need of Your healing touch. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We claim this promise over their life, believing that You are the Great Physician who can heal every disease and infirmity.

Father, we also ask for deliverance from anxiety. Your Word tells us in 1 Peter 5:7 to cast all our worries on You because You care for us. Lord, we rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety in the name of Jesus. We command it to leave and never return, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Fill this precious one with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on Your promise that whatever we ask in prayer, believing, we will receive (Matthew 21:22). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to trust in You completely. Remind them daily of Your faithfulness and love.

In addition to prayer, we encourage you to seek godly counsel and support from fellow believers. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), so do not hesitate to reach out to your church community for encouragement and prayer. Also, consider if there are any lifestyle changes or medical advice you should follow, as God often works through practical means as well.

Lastly, immerse yourself in God’s Word daily. Meditate on Scriptures that speak of God’s healing and peace, such as Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." Let these truths sink deep into your heart and renew your mind.

We stand with you in faith, believing that God is working even now to bring healing and peace to your life. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He will complete the good work He has begun in you. May the Lord bless you and keep you, may He make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you, and may He lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26). In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Thank you for reaching out with this prayer, it's a gift to be able to carry it with you. Bringing your body and your anxiety honestly before the Father is a real act of trust, and we’re grateful you invited us in.

Anxiety can take such a toll on our bodies, often in ways that leave us feeling alone or even ashamed. But you are not alone. Many of us have walked that road, and we’ve seen God meet people in these hard places, sometimes with a sudden sense of peace, sometimes through the steady, loving presence of others, and often through a longer process of healing. None of that means your faith is weak. It just means you’re human, and God is gentle.

If your anxiety has brought physical symptoms that concern you, it can be wise to talk with your doctor, not instead of prayer but alongside it. God often uses medical help as part of bringing wholeness. You might also consider sharing your burden with one trusted Christian friend or your pastor. There is real comfort in knowing someone is praying for you by name and checking in on you. You don’t have to figure this out alone.

We pray with you now: Lord Jesus, thank you for this dear brother or sister who trusts you with their body and mind. We ask for your healing touch, whether you restore them overnight or carry them day by day. Quiet the anxious thoughts that swirl, and let them feel your steady love holding them up. Give wisdom for any next steps, and surround them with people who will pray and care. In your name, Amen.

You speak of healing for your body and deliverance from anxiety, and in this you seek what the Lord alone can give. Consider that the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, the very least things about Christ are full of healing virtue. Why then should you fear? The anxiety that clouds your mind unfits you to meet the trial, and the worry itself is a weight you were never meant to carry. Look away from the body's pains and the soul's fears to the One who bore our griefs and carried our sorrows. Your Father has heard; He will not forget the cry of His own.

You ask deliverance, and rightly so, for deliverance from the power of darkness is as much God’s work as deliverance from sin’s guilt. Did He not bring Israel forth with silver and gold, and was there one feeble person among their tribes? He makes deliverance effectual, He brings His people out. The clock of mercy struck in heaven the hour of your relief the moment you cried to Him. This anxiety, this ailment, is not beyond His hand. Pain of body often wraps up within itself great mercy; it drives us to the place where pardon and healing are one. When the Lord comes and dwells with you, the Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings.

Do not doubt your deliverance. He has found a ransom; He has declared, “Deliver him from going down to the pit.” What then? Shall you not live and declare the works of the Lord? The trial is sharp, but it shall not be the end. "I shall not die, but live." And when He brings you through, your tongue will sing of His faithfulness. Cut the cords of anxious thought, for He who spared not His own Son will with Him freely give you all things. Rise from your despondency, giving all honor to Free Grace alone, and let your soul feed upon the empty tomb and the occupied throne. There is your healing. There is your peace.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You come seeking healing of the body and deliverance from anxiety, and rightly you give thanks and ask in Jesus' name. But consider this: when the Lord speaks of flesh and spirit, He means that carnal hearing of His words looks only to what is before the eyes, to the temporary body and its desires, and that profits nothing. His own flesh is life, but when we hear His promises with an earthly mind, we miss the greater gift. Anxiety gnaws at you because you gaze upon the body and its frailty as if that were the sum of your condition. Turn your eyes inward, see with spiritual sight, and remember that the One who adopted you as a son sent the Spirit into your heart, freeing you from the curse and fear that enslave the world. That Spirit is not a spirit of slavery to make you tremble at every ache, but of liberty and security.

Do not run to amulets or cunning words, for a Christian woman who sees her child sick and refuses charms, even when others persuade her, becomes a martyr in her resolve. She chooses the cross alone as her remedy. Sign yourself with that sign, and say: this is my only weapon, my only medicine; I know no other. If you have been insensible after many hearings of this truth, do not despair. A tree struck many times without effect may fall at last from one more blow, and the previous blows are not wasted. Eager longing to hear the word will not fail to bring forth fruit in its season.

Let the beauty you cultivate be that of the soul, which neither disease nor anxiety can disfigure, which no old age wrinkles, and which remains forever in its prime. Bodily health, even when it lasts, is but for a few years; the spiritual adornment endures into the nuptial chamber undefiled. So use sensible means for the stomach's infirmities, as the Apostle directed Timothy to take a little wine, but do not let the body's complaints become a tyranny that steals your peace. The merciful God who hears your prayer knows that teachers and all believers stand in great need of mercy; He is ready to refresh the good. Yet let each of us enter his conscience and, if he finds himself not among the crowned, let that holy fear drive him not to worldly anxiety but to fasting, sackcloth, and the healing treatment of lamentation. For to bewail what we lack, when we have not obeyed fully, often amends the soul where advice did not profit.

Above all, do not think one part of virtue is sufficient. Freedom from riches, fortitude, careful hearing, contempt of passing things, all must be cultivated if you would stand on the rock. So lay aside the weight of your anxious thoughts about the body, and grasp the eternal life held out to you. The Lord who gave you the Spirit of adoption will supply what is lacking. This I declare, not of necessity only, but as a physician who would not abandon his patient even when the disease seems stubborn.

Thank you for bringing this before the Father. He does hear, and it is right to ask for healing and for release from anxiety in Jesus’ name.

Your body matters to the Lord, but it is not the whole story. The body you live in now is a tent, an instrument for this present age. It grows weak, it feels pain, and its fears can be loud. Yet the real you is spirit, and your hope rests in the God who will one day raise you with a body that pleases him. That does not make your present suffering small. It means you can ask boldly for mercy now, while trusting him for what is still to come.

You are also part of Christ’s body. When one member hurts, the whole body hurts. Do not let anxiety isolate you or tell you that your need is unimportant. Every part is necessary, and you were never meant to carry this alone. Let others pray with you and bear the weight with you.

As you ask for deliverance, present your body to God. It is not your own. It is a temple of the Holy Spirit, bought with a price. You can say to the Lord, Here is my body. Take it and use it for your purposes. Let sin and fear not have dominion. When anxiety rises, do not let the body and its alarms sit in the driver’s seat. Set your mind on the Spirit, and let his peace govern your heart.

Remember the body of Christ broken for you. Through his suffering, healing was provided. When you come to his table, discern his body and receive by faith what he accomplished. Your request is not built on your own strength. It rests on Jesus.

I join you in asking the Father for healing over your body and deliverance from anxiety, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
