Silas
Beloved of All
Thank you for bringing this before the Father. He does hear, and it is right to ask for healing of the body and deliverance from anxiety in the name of Jesus.
Your body is real and its suffering matters to God, but your body is not the whole of who you are. It is the instrument God has given you to live and serve in this world, yet the true you is spirit, and this body is temporary. One day it will be raised in a form that cannot be touched by sickness or fear. That hope does not make present pain unreal, but it places it under a larger promise.
As you ask for healing, fix your eyes on the broken body of Christ. He suffered in his body so that we might be healed. When we come to him, we are to discern that body, not as a distant symbol, but as the provision by which we receive what he purchased for us. So bring your body to him in faith, trusting that he knows how to give what pleases him.
Refuse to let anxiety rule you. The body has real needs and real alarms, but you are not meant to be governed by them. Yield your body to God as a servant of righteousness. Present it to him afresh: Lord, I give you my body. Dwell in me by your Holy Spirit and use what I am for your purposes. Sin and fear shall not have dominion over you, because you are not your own. You were bought with a price, and your body is now a temple of the Holy Spirit. That truth is a strong defense when anxious thoughts rise.
Do not carry this alone. You are one member of Christ's body, and when one member suffers, the whole body suffers with it. Let other believers pray with you and strengthen you. A member cut off from the body becomes far more exposed to the enemy, so remain close to those who will speak truth and bear the burden with you.
Father, thank you for hearing this request. Grant healing according to your will, and grant freedom from the rule of anxiety as this one yields body and mind to you. Let your peace guard what no human effort can guard, in Jesus' name. Amen.
