We come before the throne of grace with your request, lifting up your need for healing and deliverance from anxiety. We thank you for calling on the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and the power to overcome every trial.
The Word of God assures us in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." We stand on this promise, believing that God hears your cry and will grant you His peace as you surrender your fears to Him.
We also hold fast to Isaiah 53:5, which declares, "But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed." By the stripes of Jesus, healing is yours, both in body and in mind. We rebuke every spirit of infirmity and anxiety in the mighty name of Jesus, commanding it to flee and declaring restoration over your life.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You as a body of believers, united in faith, lifting up our brother/sister who is in need of Your healing touch. Lord, we ask that You stretch forth Your hand and bring complete restoration to their body. Where there is pain, bring relief; where there is weakness, bring strength; where there is sickness, bring Your healing power. We declare that by the wounds of Jesus, they are healed.
Father, we also pray for deliverance from anxiety. You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We rebuke every spirit of worry, dread, and torment that seeks to steal their peace. Fill them with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding. Help them to cast every care upon You, knowing that You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). Teach them to trust in You with all their heart and lean not on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Lord, draw them closer to You in this season. Let them experience Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Strengthen their faith as they wait on You, and remind them that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We declare that Your will is done in their life, and we trust in Your perfect timing. May they walk in the fullness of Your healing and peace, giving You all the glory. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

As you wait for relief, remember that Jesus Himself knows what it is to be overwhelmed. He doesn’t scold you for your anxiety; He draws near. We’re asking Him to quiet your nervous system, calm the racing thoughts, and restore your strength in body and mind.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. The promise stands sure, "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee: because he trusteth in Thee." Consider the margin: peace, peace; a double peace for the double trial of a troubled body and an anxious mind. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, and that peace gleams with a heavenly light even in the midnight of this world of care. When the soul makes its full acquaintance with God, it finds healing and deliverance woven together, for where pardon is pronounced, healing is conveyed. The same voice that said, "Son, be of good cheer; thy sins are forgiven thee," also lifted the palsied frame. Seek first the kingdom, and the leaves of the tree, the least thing about Christ, carry virtue for the nations.
Anxiety is the worm that eats the heart of peace. Have you never discovered that the very fretfulness bred by a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty? You go rambling round and round to find rest, but the mind fixed on the visible storm finds no haven. The Lord would have you return to your closet, to the secret place where He waits. Be still, and hold your peace while He speaks: "I have found a ransom." The deliverance was invented in the heart of free grace and paid for at the cost of the Beloved's blood. It is a finished work, not a partial therapy. If He has delivered you from the archers of guilt and the power of darkness, and He has, if your trust rests in Jesus alone, then He will not withhold the healing of the body or the poise of the soul.
The body may creak, for it is sown in weakness, but the spirit is life because of righteousness. Yet even now, the Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings. Do not doubt your deliverance, for it is as much the work of sovereign grace to bring us out of the iron furnace of mental anguish as it is to liberate us from Egypt's bondage. Let your prayer be no mere cry of desperation, but a steady looking unto the Crucified One, finding in His wounds your medicine, in His death your life. The clock of mercy struck in Heaven the hour and moment of your deliverance, the eternal purpose has decreed it.
Live, then, upon this truth of God. The fretting question, "What shall we eat, or what shall we drink, or wherewithal shall we be clothed?" is swallowed up in a greater quest for the kingdom. Take up the song of the Psalmist: "I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord." Bear your sorrow with Him, and you shall find even with surging sorrows a peace so profound, so perfect, that earth's struggles shall seem to cease even before they end, as Jesus calls you onward toward Heaven's perfect peace.

You ask for healing of your body and deliverance from anxiety, and rightly you turn to God through Jesus Christ. Yet consider why the body suffers and the soul is tossed with anxious thoughts. Often the sickness of the body is a merciful warning, a scourge for the health of the soul. As a physician applies the knife to a stubborn disease, so God permits bodily affliction that we might examine our inner state and flee from sin. Do not then seek only relief from the fever of anxiety without searching out its root. For what is anxiety but a daily scourge, a slavery far more bitter than any bodily pain? It springs from clinging to the clay of worldly cares, from fixing our hearts on things that cannot satisfy. The soul is precious, and when it is bound by unprofitable fears and vain distractions, it groans under the lash of the devil more grievously than any bodily torment.
Hear the word of Christ, which is sharper than any two-edged sword and able to pierce the darkness of the heart. He speaks, and at once the fever departs, and perfect health returns. But His healing is not only for the body; it calls you to sin no more, lest a worse thing befall you. When He finds you in the temple of your heart, He bids you rise from the bed of negligence and walk in newness of life. The compunction sent by God is the true Moses, delivering you from Egypt, from the brick-making of worldly lusts and anxieties that yield no gain but only chastisement. If you groan under this slavery, look up. He sends His own Word, and when it takes hold of your soul, it frees you from bitter bondage.
Do not think that one part of virtue suffices. You may pray for healing, but if you remain soft and unmanly in the face of trial, or careless in hearing and remembering the Word, the bramble of anxiety will spring up again and choke it. A garment filthy from a slave’s wear you would never put on, yet the soul you allow to be stained with muddy thoughts, shared with the enemy of your peace. Be ashamed, then, not of my words but of the actions that breed such uncleanness. The lips of the strange woman, the allurements of worldly comforts, drop honey for a season, but they turn to gall and pierce like a sword. These are the very things that fill the heart with tremors and the body with weakness.
