We hear your cry for healing and deliverance from anxiety, and we join our hearts with yours in seeking the Lord’s mercy and power. The Scriptures remind us that our God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). He is the Great Physician, and in His name, we boldly come before His throne of grace to find help in our time of need (Hebrews 4:16).
First, we want to acknowledge that you have rightly called upon the name of Jesus in your prayer, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or healed (Acts 4:12). Salvation, whether for the soul or the body, comes only through faith in Him. If you have not already, we encourage you to place your full trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, repenting of any sin and surrendering your life to Him. For it is written, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9). This is the foundation upon which all healing and deliverance rest.
Now, regarding your request for physical healing, we declare with faith that by His stripes, you were healed (Isaiah 53:5, 1 Peter 2:24). We pray that the Lord would touch your body, restoring every cell, organ, and system to wholeness. We rebuke sickness, disease, and infirmity in the name of Jesus, for He came to destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8). We also encourage you to seek godly medical care, as the Lord often works through means, while trusting Him as your ultimate Healer.
For your anxiety, we stand on the promise that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Anxiety is a tool of the enemy to steal your peace, but Jesus came that you may have life abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke the spirit of fear and command it to leave you now in Jesus’ name. We pray that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, would guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Cast all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).
We also encourage you to fill your mind with the truth of God’s Word. Meditate on Scriptures that speak of His faithfulness, such as Psalm 91, which declares that He will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence. Speak these truths over your life daily, for faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God (Romans 10:17). Replace anxious thoughts with prayers, supplications, and thanksgiving (Philippians 4:6), and let the Lord renew your mind (Romans 12:2).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name. We thank You that You are our Healer, our Deliverer, and our Peace. Lord, we ask that You would stretch forth Your hand and touch every part of [this individual’s] body that is afflicted. We declare healing and restoration in Jesus’ name, for by Your stripes, they are healed. We rebuke every spirit of infirmity and command it to leave now.
Father, we also ask that You would break the chains of anxiety that have bound [this individual]. Fill them with Your perfect peace, which transcends all understanding. Let Your Holy Spirit minister to their heart and mind, reminding them that You are in control and that they can cast all their cares upon You. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to stand firm on Your promises.
We ask that You would draw [this individual] closer to You, deepening their relationship with Jesus Christ. May they know You more intimately and trust You more fully. Surround them with godly community who can encourage and support them in their walk with You.
We declare that no weapon formed against [this individual] shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already theirs in Christ Jesus. We pray all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus. Amen.
