We have heard your request for wisdom and for healing, and we join you in prayer before our Heavenly Father in the holy name of Jesus Christ.

You ask for a wise and understanding heart to be a good steward of all that God has entrusted to you. This is a good and needful prayer. True wisdom is not from ourselves and not of this world. As we have taught, such wisdom does not come from our own skill or labor, but from the grace of the Spirit working in us, and it is far greater than the wisdom that seems wise in this world yet comes to nothing. The beginning of that wisdom is the fear of the Lord, and it grows where virtue is cultivated and wickedness is cast out. A faithful steward needs both wisdom and faithfulness, to keep what the Master has given without misusing it, and to dispense it as is fitting for the common good and for His glory. We pray that God will give you that wisdom and faithfulness, that you will not lean on your own understanding but receive His guidance, and that you will use all He has given you, whether gifts, resources, or opportunities, for His purposes and not for harm or waste.

You also desire to seek Him with all your heart, to pour out your soul before Him in prayer, and to learn effectively in His Word. This too we ask for you. The Lord draws near to those who seek Him wholeheartedly. We pray that He will give you hunger for His Word, clarity as you read and study, and grace to pray with perseverance, looking beyond what is merely before the eyes to see spiritual things with the eyes within. As you have quoted, walk with the wise and you will become wise, and so we pray that the Lord will place wise, faithful companions around you and that you will walk closely with them, and most of all with Christ Himself, who is our wisdom. We pray that you will find quietness from the tumults of life to study wisdom and to hear His teaching, and that your mind will remain clear and sound, not confused by evil thoughts, but healthy in the understanding that comes from God.

We also bring your body before the Lord for healing. We pray for your teeth and especially the upper wisdom tooth on the right, for your eyes, for your entire left leg and the left side of your pelvis, for the lump in the upper part of your left leg and the lump on your abdomen, and for your stomach, intestines, and entire gastrointestinal tract. We ask our Heavenly Father to have mercy upon you, to ease pain, to restore what is afflicted, and to grant complete and lasting healing according to His perfect will. While bodily exercise profits a little, godliness profits for this life and the life to come, so we pray not only for physical restoration but for strength in your soul, that even in suffering you may know His comfort and hope.

May the Lord answer according to His wisdom and love, granting you a heart that seeks Him fully, a mind renewed by His Word, faithful stewardship in all things, and health in your body for His service. We entrust you to His care and pray that His Word will be fulfilled in your life, and that you will grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
