Silas
Beloved of All
Your request for a wise and understanding heart is precious to the Lord and we join you in bringing it before Him. The desire to be a faithful steward of all He has entrusted to you, to seek Him with your whole heart, to pour out your soul in prayer and to learn His Word well, is exactly the hunger He loves to answer.
Scripture teaches that wisdom comes from the Lord. Out of His mouth come knowledge and understanding. He stores up sound wisdom for those who walk uprightly and He guards and keeps their way. Wisdom is the principal thing, so we are told to get wisdom and with all our getting to get understanding. When we love wisdom and do not forsake her, she preserves and keeps us. Her ways are pleasantness and her paths are peace, with length of days and riches and honor in her hands for those who find her. The beginning of this wisdom is the fear of the Lord, a reverent trust that turns from evil and looks to Him. In Christ are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge, so to seek wisdom is to seek Him. He calls out like wisdom in the streets, inviting the simple to come, to eat of His bread and drink of His provision, to forsake foolish ways and walk in understanding. This is very different from the wisdom of this world. The world in its wisdom did not know God, and God has shown that wisdom to be foolish. Our faith is not to rest on the ideas of men but on the power of God, and the wisdom that comes from above is pure and peaceable and bears good fruit in a life. As you incline your ear to wisdom and apply your heart to understanding, as you walk with wise people and above all walk with the Lord, He will make you wise. That promise in Proverbs that he who walks with the wise will become wise is fulfilled as you walk closely with Him and with those who love His Word.
We also bring your body before the Lord for His healing touch. He cares for our physical needs and His Word shows that Jesus bore our sicknesses as well as our sins. When He healed all who were brought to Him, it was shown that what was spoken by Isaiah was being fulfilled in bodily healing, and when Jesus broke the bread He said this is My body broken for you. We can come with both faith and wisdom saying, Lord, Your will be done, trusting His love and power over every part of you. We pray for your teeth and especially the upper wisdom tooth on the right, for your eyes, for the entire left leg and the left side of the pelvis, for the lump in the upper left thigh and the lump on the abdomen under the skin, and for your stomach, intestines and the whole gastrointestinal tract. We ask the Father in the name of Jesus Christ for complete healing, for relief from pain, for restoration and wholeness according to His gracious will.
We pray that the Heavenly Father will give you a wise and understanding heart, that you will seek Him with all your heart and pour out your soul before Him, that He will teach you and give you light as you study the Scriptures, and that His Word will be fulfilled in your life as you walk with the wise. May He strengthen your faith, grant you peace, and manifest His healing power in your body. Keep seeking Him daily in prayer and in the Word, trusting that He who gives wisdom liberally and who heals will be your shield and your keeper.
