We join you in prayer together before our Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ, thanking Him for your desire to seek Him with all your heart and to be a faithful steward of all He has entrusted to you. Your request for a wise and understanding heart is beautiful and pleases God, for it echoes the prayer of Solomon who asked for an understanding heart to discern between good and evil, and God was pleased to grant it, 1 Kings 3:9.
We are encouraged that you desire to pour out your whole soul before Him in prayer and to learn effectively in His Word, for the Lord promises, You will seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart, Jeremiah 29:13. And we stand with you that the Word will be fulfilled in your life as it says, He who walks with wise men will be wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm, Proverbs 13:20. We pray you will be surrounded by godly, wise counsel and that you will walk closely with those who love and obey the Lord, that their wisdom will sharpen you as iron sharpens iron.
The Scripture assures us, But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him, James 1:5. We also remember, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight, Proverbs 3:5-6. A faithful steward is required to be found trustworthy, 1 Corinthians 4:2, and He who is faithful in a very little is faithful also in much, Luke 16:10. We pray God makes you faithful in the little things and the great things alike.
We also lift up your body for complete healing, for our God is the Lord who heals us, Exodus 15:26, and who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases, Psalm 103:3. We bring before Him your teeth and especially the upper wisdom tooth on the right, your eyes, the entire left leg and the left side of the pelvis, the lump in the upper part of the left leg in the thigh, the subcutaneous lump on the abdomen, and your stomach, intestines and entire gastrointestinal tract. We ask for His merciful touch upon every cell and tissue, for by His wounds you were healed, 1 Peter 2:24, and we claim His promise, But I will restore health to you and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh, Jeremiah 30:17.
Let us pray together.
Father in heaven, in the holy name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace on behalf of our dear brother. We thank You that You have placed in him a hunger for wisdom and for You. Grant him, Lord, a wise and understanding heart as You gave to Solomon, that he may steward well all that You have entrusted to him for Your glory. Teach him to seek You with all his heart and to pour out his soul before You in prayer without ceasing, 1 Thessalonians 5:17. Open his eyes that he may see wondrous things out of Your law, Psalm 119:18, and give him understanding and retention as he studies Your Word, that he may be a doer of the Word and not a hearer only, James 1:22. Lead him to walk with the wise that he may become wise, and keep him from companionship that would lead him astray.
We also ask in the name of Jesus Christ, our great Physician, that You lay Your healing hand upon his body. Touch his teeth and bring relief and restoration to that wisdom tooth, touch his eyes and restore clear sight, touch his left leg and the left side of his pelvis and restore strength and alignment and freedom from pain. We ask You to dissolve and remove the lumps in his thigh and on his abdomen, and to heal his stomach, intestines and entire gastrointestinal tract. Forgive his sins and heal all his diseases according to Your mercy, and let Your healing power flow through him that he may be made whole and may testify of Your goodness. Grant wisdom to any doctors and help him to honor You with his body as a temple of the Holy Spirit, 1 Corinthians 6:19-20.
We pray all these things according to Your perfect will, trusting that You hear us when we ask in the name of Your Son Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12, and through Him we have access to You. Strengthen his faith as he waits upon You, and let Your peace guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:7. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, amen.
